I was starting to doubt, but UTAlan raises an excellent point. That remark refutes the claim that you guys legitimately know each other. Protown masons would have no reason to say something like that.UTAlan wrote:If y'all decide together who to kill, why would he say this?Wolverine Mutant wrote:Thanks for the support, duday, although I'm not sure why you think I'm not scummy..
Which suggests you know each other for illegitimate reasons.

Re: star wars mafia day 6
Something strikes me as odd about all this. It seems strange that duday would make that claim when it makes him an obvious target for the mafia, and to protect someone who's obviously not experienced at this game. Also if the Storm Troopers vote as a bloc, then losing one member doesn't mean they lose their night kill, so why would duday protect wolverine at the great cost of risking himself (and thus the town's ability to night kill)?
FOS: Duday{/b] for a suspiciously made claim. Nevertheless, I can't prove that he is scum, and maybe he's actually a storm trooper. I just think we should keep an eye out.

I honestly have no idea why he said that. We can only talk at night, and maybe he was trying to cover up for me. Like if he was going down then he figured the other storm trooper should stay unknown. Do you get what I'm trying to explain here?UTAlan wrote:If y'all decide together who to kill, why would he say this?Wolverine Mutant wrote:Thanks for the support, duday, although I'm not sure why you think I'm not scummy..

Yeah, I figured I was pretty much dead anyway, so I was trying to cover for him so that maybe the both of us wouldn't be killed, or at least that he wouldn't be immediately killed by association with me. The roles are as he says, stormtroopers night-kill ability.duday53 wrote:I honestly have no idea why he said that. We can only talk at night, and maybe he was trying to cover up for me. I'm undecided on Wolverine and Duday (although I don't see why Duday would have spoken up at all if he were scum, so that does give their argument some credit).
In the meantime, how about /...He was online today, but hasn't posted in I don't know how long. If I buy into their story (^^), / is the next person I'd suspect.

Well ok, I guess that with what I highlighted earlier in the night scene and what they are talking about, there is a distinct possibility that they are telling the truth. Since we're on the submarining case, I will move on to the next suspect.

And, in the event you don't believe us, you'll kill one of us, see that they were right, and the other's identity will be proven, correct? (Obviously assuming that we are, indeed, telling the truth, which we are.)

Duday would speak up if they were both scum and he was trying to protect fellow scum by making up a story how they could both be storm troopers (which, by the way, doesn't really make sense given the story - storm troopers were strictly foot soldiers, they wouldn't make decisions like this). At any rate,UTAlan wrote:I'm undecided on Wolverine and Duday (although I don't see why Duday would have spoken up at all if he were scum, so that does give their argument some credit).

Re: star wars mafia day 6
i still kind of have a few questions about Duday and wolverine. Like where were they when AoG was under suspicion but for the most part i would have to say that I believe them. At this point in the game it just don't think it makes sense for a mafia player to step up like duday did to help his buddy when they would very likely be the last two alive. That being said I'm all for lynching / for his inactivity. I know he's been in enough mafia to have known better than to just disappear without saying a word, so the inactivity is highly questionable.

Re: star wars mafia day 6
That was a mistake on my part. I didn't notice that AoG was a storm trooper till it was too late. I wasn't the most active person before Day 6 and I didn't really connect that one of my fellow storm troopers was about to be lynched. And besides, there wasn't much I could do to help him without appearing scummy? Like this jump to save Wolverine was sketchy enough. Imagine that a couple days ago when there were more players and role claims meant automatic lynch..strike wolf wrote:i still kind of have a few questions about Duday and wolverine. This is perhaps the mod embarrassing mistake I've ever made in mafia, but it totally slipped my mind I was still in this game, I could have sworn I died a while back...
Could someone please fill me in on what's going on?

Re: star wars mafia day 6
To be honest, I had thought you had been modkilled as well. Basically we've established based on Duday's confession to save wolverine who he claims to be his fellow stormtrooper and other sources that the stormtroopers collaborate to decide night kills. if we were to believe Duday and wolverine they are the only 2 stormtroopers left. Meanwhile we think that the rebel faction is down to one maybe two members. The rebels seem to have one killing role and we have a killing faction, the storm troopers and a vig (Darth Vader most likely). We know that Luke Skywalker for the rebellion is still alive however we do not know if he is the lone standing mafia member or if he still has someone with him. We've killed Princess leia (rebel recruiter) and han solo (smuggler aka mafia doc) and Chewbacca was modkilled. However we've also lost a few imperial citizens, two storm troopers (one modkilled) and a town cop. I think you were here for the lynching of vodean (3rd party survivor with night kill ability aka serial killer) as far as today, wolverinesmutant started out as the main target but attention has shifted to you due to your inactivity./ wrote:This is perhaps the mod embarrassing mistake I've ever made in mafia, but it totally slipped my mind I was still in this game, I could have sworn I died a while back...

Thanks strike, that really helps .
I suppose I should claim now, I'm just another imperial citizen unfortunately, however I have the perfect proof, if I were anyone of any value what so ever I would have been mod killed/replaced forever ago.

Oh come on /, you know better than to WIFOM like that. If we really want to metagame, mod killed 1 rebellion and 1 storm trooper and those are hardly insignificant roles. By saying you are "not important and therefore not modkilled" is such a presumptive statement given the modkills that happened beforehand. My vote stands./ wrote:Thanks strike, that really helps .

That's what I'm saying, the mod killed them because they had actions that were expected but not fulfilled. I don't have an action to send, so the mod didn't even notice I was gone.safariguy5 wrote:Oh come on /, you know better than to WIFOM like that. Re: star wars mafia day 6
That's a bit of a stretch.
If I were the mod, I'd sooner modkill citizens than stormtroopers and rebels.
I'm not sure what to think now. I'd feel safer if the stormtrooper story were put to the test, which would clarify things for town while not losing their ability.
On the other hand, vanilla townie is always a tempting claim for a goon.
