just looked at the scoreboard for the first time ever. i'm a respectable #15. looking higher, there are 3 maybe 4 players i'd say are actually better than me. i dont mean specifically 1v1 but overall. is clanlord carl the best 1v1 player on the site? no. is he top 10? maybe, i don't care. looking at the rest of the top 50 there are definitely people i'd say are, in general, better players than me such as rockfist and urban jedi.

So how do you decide if someone is 'better' ? Again you state opinions without giving reasons or evidence.

I'm simply saying that such a vast number of matches will iron out random factors.

Lets look at the evidence.....
IamCaffeine our head to head 1v1 all time score is 9-4 nice but not quite enough to show if either of us is 'better' now if the score was 90-40 or 900-400 then yes i'd claim bragging rights if i was so inclined. For my amusement i then checked your head to head v your 'better' player Rockfist and to my surprise discovered you were 11 to 8 up in 1v1 while you beat UrbanJedi 1-0 how are they better than you ? I suppose it is possible they had awful luck but fought like demons with what they had.

As another aside my head to head v Rockfist is a very close 10v9 in 1v1 games.

I think you need evidence to support opinions.
This tourney will supply that in spades.

Just checked, and I've played urbanjedi 3 times. All recent and all 1v1....i won them all comfortably.

In no way would I claim to be better than josko, but the stats don't support that. Just as winning thus tourney will go a long way, but not be definitive. Nothing can be definitive

Given that 160 players are playing regularly, I suggest to extend scoreboard until 100 players so that majority of them can see themselves on the Scoreboard. Otherwise lower ranked players may lose interest to join in the future.

Can you define 'soon'. I have a bad patch right now then a very very promising one coming up. Ill get worried when you are a top three player. Only one guy is within a win of me.

I have six in a row tournaments with at least 8 points each. Therefore I have 62 points in the pocket with possibly more to earn.

From three tournaments that are currently in round 5, I will earn 38, 48, or 58 points. If I earn 48 that will be enough to overcome you soon.

Interesting argument, but sort of assumes that Carl isn't in also in tournaments with points pending.

Also, I just won my first tournament, so I'll assume that means I'm the best in the world.

The 1v1 age of Josko supremacy is drawing to its end soon a new age will dawn.

Early days early days so far. I absolutely expect you to be up on me at some point but when the bell toil on tourney no 243 there will be only one winner.

I just barely won 1 out of 5 Hong Kong final games vs nibotha preventing him from earning GA medal.

Now I jumped to 3rd spot, within one win distance from the throne.

I will win Game 19713387, that will bring me back to he throne.
