new maps
All these maps make me giddy! It's like having too many Christmas presents, they're all so good!
So which one do you guys prefer? So far I'd say Feudal Wars is my favorite, it's quite the awesome map.

So? We already have sooo many classic maps.Risktaker17 wrote:I don't really like any of them, they are OK. I think maps are trying to hard to be unique. They have ditched classic. Classic is probably most peoples favorite map.
In heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine, in heaven... Everything is fine... You got your things, and I've got mine.

From being a part of the process I don't think people are setting out to be unique, I think they are just trying to make what they themselves want to play.Risktaker17 wrote:I don't really like any of them, they are OK. On that note, it's interesting that the least classic style maps have received the most votes.

good luck with that idea!! the dude that owns and runs this site is pretty freaking obtuse and a tyrannt!! i'll be shocked if you don't get your premium pulled after that suggestion!!! however, i think it is a cool idea, but i think that you would have to hold it for a round...-0lackattack wrote:I'd like to see a classic-style map where you win when you hold the largest continent.

You have to hold any objective for a round.owenshooter wrote:good luck with that idea!! the dude that owns and runs this site is pretty freaking obtuse and a tyrannt!! i'll be shocked if you don't get your premium pulled after that suggestion!!! however, i think it is a cool idea, but i think that you would have to hold it for a round...-0lackattack wrote:I'd like to see a classic-style map where you win when you hold the largest continent.

well if you hold it lack, you usually will win
it is easy to own it, holding it much harder, same with high scores

Actually i think this would be a bad idea. Freestyle speed games would reduce the chances of it being broke before the players next turn.lackattack wrote:I'd like to see a classic-style map where you win when you hold the largest continent.
fight the power
What do you know about map making, bitch?

I completly disagree. I'd say people are trying to be less like Classic because it ISN'T one of the most popular maps. People come to CC for online RISK, and they can't play CCU, World 2.1, Global Warming (w00t, Pep!), or any of these other maps on a game board at home with buddies. Plus, with all the other options that can be offered (sub-continents, portals, anything in Age of blank), they move away from Classic. I myself dislike it because of it's lack of many territs. It's not the people's map: it's the n00b's map. Have you noticed almost all n00bs play their first game on Classic? I know I did. *folds arms and smiles knowingly*Risktaker17 wrote:I don't really like any of them, they are OK. I think maps are trying to hard to be unique. They have ditched classic.
