I'm in a game where Player 1 made a pact with player 2 and eventually player 3. Player 3 eventually makes a pact Player 2. All these appear to be on the up and up as all declarations were made in the open and they seemed logical at the time that each one was made.
Now, many turns later, Player 2 and Player 3 are content with just holding their continents, although it has to be obvious to them that Player 1 (who has all of the Americas) will simply eliminate them after they all eliminate me (I have Austrailia and a shrinking part of Asia).
Anyone experience this before? What's my best strategy? I've just been whining in the message area, hoping that one of them will break their pact and allow me to get back in the game. It hasn't worked so far...
Like another post mentioned, I'm in a slump too. I think I'm showing too much strength in the early game and causing the other players to feel weak and make pacts. I sort of feel like Uma Thurman in that fight scene in Kill Bill--only I'm holding a "Shattori Shanzo" sword I got at the local flea market.
Getting gang banged

Multi Pacts
Not too much you can do at this point. I get so annoyed by alliances that I don't generally play in games where alliances are permitted.
Been playing Risk for a bit
