1) Wouldn't it make more sense to allow teams to split bonuses for co-occupying a territory? Perhaps the bonus could be further divided by which team holds at least half of the territory (ex: if the bonus is 3 armies, then whichever team holds at least 50% of the territory gets 2 of 3 armies, or if they have more armies already occupying then the tie goes to them for having a stronger hold on the territory).
2) If that can't be done, then make it so you don't have to "fight" your teammate and lose armies to try and take a territory to get the bonus.
3) Allow the option to "turn over" your armies to your teammate so you can give them territories to provide them the bonus on the next round (perhaps a limit of so many can be turned over so you can't give your team the whole map after every turn and give them a bazillion armies).
4) Allow teammates to exchange cards to help with acquiring bonuses
Idea: Allow allies/teammates to split bonuses, plus more!

Me and my extensive knowledge of the Suggestions Forum have found these.

Exchange Territories Between Team Mates -- [Rejected]2) If that can't be done, then make it so you don't have to "fight" your teammate and lose armies to try and take a territory to get the bonus.

I don't think the solution provided in number 2 is the best, but I think something should address that issue. At every level, being forced to attack your teammate to take their country makes no sense at all.
Of course, you can't just transfer armies or territories outside of the applicable fortifications. That is too easy. But I think the current set-up is something worth talking about and addressing.

#3 Sounds like it would be extremely difficult to code...
#1 Seems like it may also be hard to code...and when the suggestion for having a team hold a continent and getting a bonus came up...a while ago, only a few really were interested. Others thought it would make team games less strategic I think.

I agree, on certain maps, or any map, it's possible for a team to start off with an entire bonus or two. On Doodle Earth it can be all of europe or anything, it's a tiny map. On Classic an entire team could start with any of the continents, most likely Aussie or SA, but they could start off with like africe or europe. Most likely not Asia or NA it's posible though.AndyDufresne wrote:#3 Sounds like it would be extremely difficult to code...
