The following provides an outline of Clinton's platform for her campaign for the 2008 presidency.

Abortion
1. Respect the rulings of Roe vs. Wade, but make adoptions to the ruling possible
2. The right to choice must constitutionally be safeguarded.
3. Late term abortions should be legal only when the mother's life or health is at risk.
4. Support for parental notice of teen pregnancy and family planning programs.
5. Supports expansion of embryonic stem cell research.
6. Believes in reaching out to teens in order to reduce teen pregnancy through funding of sexual education and providing contraceptives.
7. In summation, abortion should be kept legal, safe and rare.

Budget & Economy
1. Protection of the next generation through paying off the United States debt.
2. Reduction of outsourcing-bring more jobs back home.
3. Reduction of taxes within a balanced budget.
4. No history of support for reduction of federal spending.

Civil Rights
1. Supports rights being provided to gays in domestic partnerships.
2. Military service should be based on conduct, not sexual orientation. (Pro-Gay rights)
3. Reduction of prostitution is a major concern.
4. Emphasis on women's rights being interchangeable with human rights.
5. An apology for slavery is due, but there should be more focus on changes to civil rights in the present.

Crime
1. Supports the "Three Strikes" rule and the construction of more prisons.
2. Supports increased funding and stricter sentences for hate crimes.
3. Supports requiring DNA testing for federal executions.

... Sadly, a lot of folks just hate Hillary because she's Hillary. That is to say, they're not sure why. Let me list a few items explaining why I dislike this woman (as a candidate AND as a person).

1. Her campaign vs Obama has been termed by the media, "Experience vs New Direction" (new direction being Obama, experience being Hillary). This woman has led a nation of Democrats to believe that she is the "Experience" option when in fact she has none. It's crazy. She's a 1-term senator (as is Obama) from New York... and she isn't even from New York! (she scammed New Yorkers as well, obviously). The extent of her experience is being the wife of a Governor, then wife of a President.

2. If this woman were not the wife of Bill Clinton, does anybody believe she would have been elected a NY senator? Could she have the slightest hope of running for President of the United States? No way in hell. This woman is entirely defined by, and is where she is only because of who she married. She has zero accomplishments.

3. I'm not stupid enough to believe that most politicians aren't manipulative and sly, but Hillary takes these precepts to their limits. Already, several plants have been uncovered in her debates, placed in the audiences by her staff to ask her spot-on questions.
Another face of this is the announcement from her campaign that they have some very dirty laundry on Obama, but won't share it, since that would be too low and crass, and Republican-like. .... This makes Americans wonder what exactly it is Obama is hiding... and they begin to doubt the man... And in the end this, too was revealed as a fabrication by Hillary Clinton's staffers.

4. Hillary absolutely refuses to allow media access to her, unless it is all pre-set and arranged (with questions reviewed well ahead of time). This is probably pretty smart, as she knows she might be tripped up by a question she didn't see coming, but scripted interviews and debates reveal nothing about this woman.

5. Lastly (for me, anyway), Hillary is rather Leftist, but has America believeing she is Centrist Democrat (more deception). She is all for major tax increases and socialized medicine, etc... the usual left Dem themes. (some people like this stuff, and I respect that point of view, but it's not for me).

War IS NOT AGAINST THE BIBLE. Read the old testament, probably 50-60 battles. Jericho, conquering the Holy Land, ect.,ect., google search "Bible Battles".

Seperation of church and state is an idea stated in NO U.S. law nor the constitution, nor the amendments. The term was only used by 1 president in a PRIVATE letter POST-presidency.

The Pilgrims came to the new world to escape persecution by the Catholic church. Maybe the final part was poorly worded, but the Democrats Do stand for some very un-Christian things.

YES this country was founded Christian, Since the constitution the pledge of Aligience has contained the phrase "under God" Everyone of the founding fathers was Christian, how can you NOT believe that this is a Christian nation.

That's not a legit enough reason. They should do what is best for the country in the long run, and it being Christian obviously hasn't been grand for them for recent years. Countries shouldn't have main religions and intermix religious laws with laws of a country, but some do that.

Take Australia as a example. It has no national religion, and I'm glad for that. It does not have any Christian laws imposed except for the human rights for the federal laws. It's been running great since the beginning of it's creation.

There is no state-religion, but the democrats are opposing to many un-christian laws. What does t matter anyway? They won't wn the elections. They put to many restrictions, and choke the economy and blame t on the republicans.

You badly need to brush up on your history ;

1) The Pilgrims were escaping from persecution from the Church of England (Protestant) because they were seperatists and not from the Catholic church.

2) About half the passengers on the Mayflower were not Pilgrims but so called Adventurers who were simply looking for a way to make a fast buck. Essentially New England was settled for commercial as well as religious reasons so the idea that the USA was founded on the base of Christianity alone is false.

3) You may not like the idea but the USA is a secular nation which is to say that the legislature is not connected with religion, Christian or otherwise. Many laws may gel with Christian morals but that is because they are ethicaly sound , other laws may offend Christians but are passed because of other considerations. Those countries that have adopted religious law ( notably in the Middle East ) are not generally a bundle of fun,you should be carefull what you wish for!

Hillary definetly has some programs which are more left wing. Nonbunga does a good job of showing a lot of the stances she has on the issues.

Sidebar (if your interested in finding out some of the things american politicans stand on) i think its called ontheissues, just do a google search for i think, you get a fairly comprehensive list.

I agree there is seemingly a lot of deception in hillarys campaign. For starters, i dont think she is really going to try and end the war. She really hasnt shown much energy toward that yet, and if thats going be one of the issues dems are going to drive for, thats a bit telling. The healthcare plan will probably take more than 1 term (or presidency) to put into effect. Like nonbunga says, she doesnt have much experience really. In a lot of ways shes not that attractive as a candidate as of yet, even though shes the frontrunner.

Also, you would be amazed at how many women have vowed to never vote for hillary for not leaving bill.

I'm not sure why someone would want an official state religion...it just seems selfish to me. I mean, think about it, let's say for the sake of argument that the country was founded primarily by Muslims. Should our government be similar to those in the Middle East? After all, there are a lot of things that we do that goes against the Quran. No more beer, datings out of the question, and for those that break the rules? Floggings. How would you feel about that? There, now you know how great it would be for non-Christians living in a Christian state.

OPen the country to legals, yes. Illegals, HELLS no. That's an insult to legal immigrants who have come here, done the paperwork, waited their turn, and pay their taxes.

I suspect the law needs changing-as ther seem to ba an awful lot of illegals. Remember that laws are not necessarily good.
