That's not true. In real live they take away the results of the runners-up of the groups of 6 with the last placed teams from that group, and then compare the 9 runners-up over that 8 games. But that doesn't work very well here.
Edit: I think I can put this in my Excel-file, so I'm changing the runners-up qualfying criteria. The points that the runners-up in the groups of 6 have obtained in the home game of the team that ends last will not count for the runners-up table.
