1> No, the king will not know they are king. There are a couple of ways it could be worked out after a couple of rounds, if people all talk to one another, but failing that, it's an unknown. I wonder if the concept of "king" isn't the right one to use, but it'll do. Maybe like some sort of soul spirit power or something. hahah...Kinnison wrote:Questions:

*debates if he should join* Lemme think about this one a bit, I'm in a few tourneys right now, don't wanna overload...
You might consider changing this, unless you think it will be really difficult for someone to figure out who was removed in the last round. As soon as more (or fewer) people are taken out than games played, we'll know who the king is.Tieryn wrote:If you are eliminated by the king, or you are last in your match, you are removed from the player pool.
This is a brilliant idea... Cheers. That solves all of the problems I was having.. You'll still be able to see by which games have players or not... unless I give out the game numbers randomly too, not in order.. hah.. that's a great idea... oh. bummer... no wait.. the problem with that is games disappear after 15 days if they are not filled... I believe... (can anyone confirm this?) so that would make it hard... I think we're just going to have to put up with the fact the king will be identifiable.. it makes you a target... so it might not always be the best strategy to become king... you might want to just not lose? I don't know.. lets play and see...!BaldAdonis wrote:Also, the games won't be hard to track if you make each round at a time, because of the numbering, so I suggest you make many more than necessary, then give out each game number at random as needed.
Each different game will be on a different map, so not all round 1 games on the same map, round 2 on a diff map. every GAME will be on different map, in alphabetical order as listed below. The games are escalating so even the big maps will get won in good time. The map is irrelevant, this is for the Kingship of ConquerClub, therefore the territories it gets fought on are the lands of CCGold Knight wrote:Im down, just wondering how maps picked by alphabetical cycle? Not really sure what you mean there...
This is true. I don't imagine any escalating terminator games will take more than two weeks to finish, so you could probably make at least two rounds at a time. Anyone who wanted to keep track of which round was which would have to search all games and record which ones are being filled.Tieryn wrote:the problem with that is games disappear after 15 days if they are not filled
