What the f*ck? When you're in 8th grade you're 13, and you turn 14 later in the year. Unless, of course, you were held back.Rook38 wrote:So that means i'm 13 because... and u should be brought back to th 5th grade for ur stupidity. at lest u were able to find the collest website ever

Most people start out 8th grade at 13, and turn 14 during the school year. Either way though, he's only got a 7th grade education under his belt, and he shouldn't exactly be attempting to sound like a scholar when he's not.strike wolf wrote:Ur information is wrong. I was 14 in the 8th grade, and I was never held back I was just old for my grade. Also he could have been one of those people who start school late.
So how old are you, then? You're acting (and spelling) like you're around 11.Rook38 wrote:we do it like Norway in Germany. 8th grade is the equevilent of 10th in the USA, because of the preschool differences

the only person who's acting immature in this thread is you. And I was 14 from before the school year had started.

Alright, enough with the ages, let's get back on topic here. If you all believe aliens cannot exist, someone give me a reasonable response to this, proving (with actual facts) why I'm wrong. I feel like I have researched the topic for no reason, because none of you have responded yet.slash1890 wrote:No, Rook, I'm talking about an offical site, not just somebody's opinion. Someone respected, intelligent, maybe with a Ph. D in the topic is a good enough reason to believe. Would you believe it if some homeless bum walked up to you and said "HEY, THERE AREN'T ANY ALIENS! I SAID SO!"? No, you wouldn't. Actually, Rook, maybe you would, but, you see, a normal person would not.
Here, for starters, let me prove you wrong about how you believe that alien life cannot exist because they won't be close to our sun.
You cannot deny that every other light up in the sky is a star. It's a fact. There is a "sun" for every galaxy in our universe. It is possible to have other existing heat in our universe, and therefore, other existing life. The Sun is the name given to the star of our solar system.

Now, we know living organisms need three things to survive. If you ask me to prove this, it's showing how much of a dumbass you really are, and it won't even be worth arguing anymore.
-Energy Source
-Water
-Minerals
-Stars are energy sources.

-Traces of water have been found on Mars, thus proving that water exists on other planets besides Earth.

-Minerals are created on other planets.

Therefore, it is possible for life to exist on other planets besides Earth in the universe. No one knows for sure, but it is indeed possible.
