There was another attempt ... Look at the thread ...this way you can try to solve whatever problems that one had which caused its abandonment....

don't base the map on counties. It seems like a nice idea, but gameplay is always horrible.

make territories larger so you have less of them.

read the How To Make a Map thread so you know what is required of you.

You could make your signature a bit more modest.

River with a shadow underneath it is a bad idea. It doesn't look good at all

Looks like 59 or 60 territories. Maybe you can combine some of them to make it a little less? 48 is the standard amount - however it's up to you.

I added some more rivers, and a REALLY ugly mt. thats meant to be the adirondacks. Im gonna try to fix that so dont criticize the way it looks.

I took out a bunch of places. I htought that i was at 48 but i think its actaully 46. my bad. There are still some small places so i might take out some more.

I like this style you are creating here with the stained glass mosaic look. I don't think we have one of those in the maps yet (i could be wrong however).

i want to ask...
1. are those real rivers? if they are, could you make them look like real rivers.
2. can you make manhattan island look like an island, i know it is only a small part of the map, but i think it would be good to get that in there.
3. you have a lot of extra real estate that isn't occupied by the map....can you use this for instructions for some unique gameplay deployment, bonuses etc.
4. if this is your large map, for the territories, the standard army shadow size of for the small map is 22 x 22 px and for the large is 24 x24 px.
See if your territories are going to fit those sizes in adequately, while you are still in this mode of territory establishment.

no offense, but im from ny and you cant just take out counties, lol i thought about offering the state as an idea but you gotta have all the counties imo for the map to be legit, i like the idea of ADKs though maybe you could make that another bonus which may allow for loss of counties, cause the adks, do stretch into central ny.

just some ideas of my home state lol

...It needs a lot of work.... Please Don't make up territories... There are a few great ideas in that last thread on how to break up the territories... you could use anything like terrain, weather and roads to break them up...that with the counties (even if some are grouped into a larger zone) would make a great map.... I had found this link which gives you plenty of info

Im kinda embarresed to say this but after being banned for my multiple account, i decided to make a new multiple account to play CC and work on this map. Master Kujacbnsh was caught as my multi, and i decided just to get premium for this account. woops!

Anyway, i worked on this map a bit and re-did the mt/blob. I think it looks better....I also took out one more terit to make 45: a pretty good number. I want to disagree with keeping the real counties, it just doesnt make sense to have them (they are too small, and there are too many of them). A lot of them were in the middle of a continent anyway. Just look at any of the maps on CC, is Peru really as big as it looks in Classic? Classic is inconsistent, some are real while others are not. I think this plays/looks a lot better than any previous versions. (Maybe this could be merged with the original thread?)

Still have to add text and bonuses. I dont think that i need army circles.

Sry if i didnt answer all of the posts above, i dont really have much time (im not ignoring anyone on purpose!)
