Allow me to clarify the things you got wrong, as a friend.

Correct.

Taoists live by that funny Yin-Yang thing.

Religious Tolerance.org wrote:Tao (pronounced "Dow") can be roughly translated into English as path, or the way. It is basically indefinable. It has to be experienced. It "refers to a power which envelops, surrounds and flows through all things, living and non-living. The Tao regulates natural processes and nourishes balance in the Universe. It embodies the harmony of opposites (i.e. there would be no love without hate, no light without dark, no male without female.)"

The Yin-Yang is the symbol of balance though, so you got that part right.

Scientologists believe there are 8 ways to heaven, called channels (channel 7 is spirits, for Boxcutta to know).

Scientologists teach that the world we live in is a false reality caused by brainwashed alien spirits infecting the minds of every person on the earth, and that these spirits must be cleared from everyone in order for mankind to regain its godlike powers and rid ourselves of all disease and unhappiness. It only costs $360,000 to reach the final level (OT8) and attain total mastery of time and space.

Wiccans cast spells and worship the Earth (most importantly), along with (secondarily) the elements Fire, Water, and Wind.

Wiccan's worship the god and goddess and perform rituals in which the five elements (Fire, Earth, Water, Air, Spirit, symbolized by the pentagram) are invoked. It's mostly a nature/community type religion.

Jehovah's Witness and the LDS church (aka Mormons) are similar in the fact that they are both "Christian Cults," which are non-Christian churches that call themselves Christians. They are the largest Christian Cults.

Well, they both go door to door and have their own views on what Christianity is. The Mormon's believe that there was a third testament of the Bible, the Book of Mormon. We've all heard the plate story.

Witnesses go door to door encouraging people to join their sect which sees things like Christmas and Halloween as pagan festivals masquerading as Christian and the Pledge to the flag as Idol worship. It's nuts, but relatively harmless.

You're close, but no cigar. You are mixing up Scientology and "Christian" Science. They do not believe the world is a false reality, they believe that it is a poisoned reality. I could write the whole chapter from a Christian book called "Why So Many Gods" that explains about 200 different cults and religions and tells you how they are diferent from Christianity, their history, and their basic beliefs. There is also evil unconsious engrams which are problems you didn't know you had that can mess you up at any given time. My definitions were very basic and in a nutshell.

Yes, I know. I was talking about the false reality part.

Yes, but there is a big difference between clearing "engrams" and something about "8 channels to heaven." For more info on Scientology, head on over to http://www.xenu.net
