And for future reference (because they're a few newer players and to be fair) I'd hold off on claiming town in this one, as from what I gather, the town has no killers (vig, etc.); but the scum do. The town best gets ta recruitin or else, whats the expression I'm looking for?,.... It's like shootin fish in a barrel.

Getting voted for confusing things seems a bit off-base when I've spent well over half of my posts in this game attempting to clarify the situation/set up because I didn't get it at first either till AD's post on like page 2 and a re-read of everything.
Also, I recommend holding off claiming any role (regardless of the game or the faction) until such a time that you either have to or it benefits you greatly to reveal yourself (i.e., not when you've got 3 votes on you on day 1). As Xen said, you'll be recruited soon.
