My mother just informed me that there was an arrest made in the case in Thailand. Anyone hear anything about this?

Jesus, yes Kyle. Oh, wait a minute, you're probably too young to remember how big this was. It was several years ago.

If JBR were alive today, she'd be Rev's age. Let's all take a minute to feel old.

being in colorado, where the murder took place, that is all they talk about on the news
they say the killer is 41 years old and used to live in georgia and california
they also said he used to be a 2nd grade teacher...

Yeah, Caleb, I am watching the Today show now, and they are talking about it.

And, here in PA, it is also the top story in the news.

Really, until this, I still thought it was the parents.

Let me ask you, Caleb, did/do people in CO believe it was the parents? What was the talk there, closer to where it happened?

Why couldn't he have done this to Paris Hilton instead when she was younger?

The parents got hounded by the press for years, didn't they? Trial by media and all that. Didn't teh governor of Colortado virtually call them guilty as well? Poor bastards. I hope this means they can sue the shit out of someone.

Saturday Night Live did some pretty fucked up skits about them. Kind of messed up now that we found out they didn't do it. Well life goes on......except for JonBenet of course, she's dead.

it's too bad they didn't get this guy before her mother passed away from cancer. maybe it would have given her some closure.

that's too bad. :(

I really thought the brother did it. you know anything goes in Thialand and for this guy to be waiting trial for a crime there as well, he must have done something horrifying.

Well, I think there is a fine line in that freedom of speech / them being able to sue for libel thing..... Owl would be better able to explain than me..... he's the lawyer, I'm the hag.
