Yep the Yankees got what was coming to them. The only time I've ever rooted for the Yankees was in 2001 for obvious reasons.

Second, I am originally from NY, and, I pronounce it more like Wesconsin than Wisconsin. (I had to actually say it out loud to myself to figure it out, lol).

Ay, no need for name calling BoxC. i a born & raised survivor of the South Bronx. Trained Projects dweller. was able to see the Yankees from my bathroom window. " lights on in the stadium"
I have also been lucky enough to see 1 all-star game & 2 world series @ Yankee Stadium. The house that Ruth built.

the only problem with the yankees is they have picked up that jerk Johnny Damon.

its amazing how the yankees can have such a high payroll & not be the best team in the league, Im a Red Sox, i think its pretty obvious that im a red sox fan...but i like the cardinals too, & i love the mets cuz they also hate the yankees
