I've worked out why the site is going so slow
It's down to this one game.
When I first joined it i was a major. Its a flat rate, 3 way stalemate & how anyone can still be interested in a game over 3 months old is testament to the wiley old foxes playing the game.
Each time i click on it to see if anything has happened - it takes ages for the game log and game chat boxes to fill up with info.

I'm in a game similar to yours...
28731. Perhaps whenever a game gets around this far, we should just flip coins, or do choosey?

Just finished a 2 and a half month old game: http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=26963
(I won)
It did take ages to load towards the end though.

3 months... 2 and a half months.... round 40 .....etc - no kidding ?!??
Some time ago I won a game that lasted a bit over 2 years . On the same site (you could guess it's not CC as it hasn't been around that long) there is a game having been active 5 and a half years;
so excuse me laughing to your expressions "lasted for ages", "never end" etc. when talking about games some lousy months old.
(and by the way, the site seems to have turned fast again)

In a game like that you need to make an alliance and take one guy out. Personally, it looks to me like yellow just needs to grow a pair and make a move. There is no excuse for letting green keep C. America (and N. America bonus) in that game. If L. Blue takes Egypt through S. Europe, so be it. He will (most likely) be very weak after doing so and yellow can reclaim the lands without having to worry about green. Green will be too busy trying to reclaim C. America to worry about Europe.
