Anyone have an opinion on the Patriot/Bill Belichick cheating scandal?
My thoughts:
I think it's hilarious simply because The Patriots have been regarded as on of the best, cleanest teams in the NFL for the last 6 or so years...this whole ordeal just takes away from that. There's no doubt that they're good, but this surely ought to tarnish their sterling reputation. The best part is how Belichick has dealt with the whole situation, what with the Nixonian denial and twisting of words. I'm just glad that I'm not a Patriots fan. It's got to be embarrassing.

Not really embarassing, especially when on week 2 we go out and kick the shit out of the chargers. Then when we win the super bowl by going 18-0 w/out this "scandal" there will be nothing to laugh at. But im sure other teams do it as wellareyouincahoots wrote:Anyone have an opinion on the Patriot/Bill Belichick cheating scandal?

For me, the embarrassing part would be getting caught. I'm sure the Patriots are not alone in this, of course.0ojakeo0 wrote:Not really embarassing, especially when on week 2 we go out and kick the shit out of the chargers. Then when we win the super bowl by going 18-0 w/out this "scandal" there will be nothing to laugh at. What's amazing to me is that the Patriots and Broncos aren't playing each other this year...The Patriots haven't beat the Broncos since 2003 (regular season and post season). There's no way the Pats will go undefeated this year because they have to beat the Cowboys and the Colts in the process. No chance. The only reason the Pats always have an easy time getting to the playoffs is because they're in the weakest division of the AFC...come on...the Bills, Jets, and Dolphins!! None of those teams have done a damn thing in years!
True True i dont think any of them have won a game yet lol. But still weve been able to beat the colts anywhere they play them. And the cowboyz???? if we played like we did against the chargers we cant be beat.areyouincahoots wrote:For me, the embarrassing part would be getting caught. Yes, the Cowboys...as much as I hate to say it, they're doing well this year. I personally hate the Patriots, so I hope they crash and burn, but I doubt it.0ojakeo0 wrote:True True i dont think any of them have won a game yet lol.
