8 Player games

I use to play riskII on warzone. Most of the times i play the 8 player games, 80% domination, ascending trades. What i like about the 8 player games is thats in not so easy to conquer a continent. Plus the classic map is enhanced with hawaii and a connection between sa and australia. Enhancements to consider?

wouldent it be better if you can go to nine because then you can do 3 teams of 3

8 Player Games is currently Pending. As of right now, we don't have any maps that actually support large games like this, due to the standard and sub-standard number of countries the maps have thus far.

I'm all for a larger map with larger # of players. Right now i'm in a game with over 50 people (Battle Royale 2) and it's fun

Well not fun if all maps are that big, but fun as an option.

The 8 player option would work well on the new North America Map

the new World Map that's in the works would be perfect for a 3v3v3 (100+ coutnries...)

Sounds like too many players, but it would be fun to have 3 trips teams in 1 game.

Agreed - new map is almost quenched, 8 and 9 player games would suit this map. Map almost feels to big for less players.

There is an example of a World map for 8 players in the risk II, game. Its the classic map plus:
- hawaii, connecting japan and western us
- philippines, connecting indonesia and japan
- new zealand, connecting western oz and argentina
- falkland islands, connecting argenita and south affie

There should be a general call to players for bigger maps. The number of players should be a dropdown where you can pick up to "n" players depending on map size.
The min number of countries allowed would be something like 5. So if your map has 50 territories, 10 players can play. On bigger maps you get more players.
This would be sweeeeeet.

The North America map, with a few modifications, would be an excellent 8-player map.

The addition of four more "countries", would allow each player to start with a total of eight.

World 2.1 NEEDS!!!! an 8 player setting, please review this topic as more and more of the new maps are getting 12+ starting territory bonuses.

I have to counter that if people can play 6-player on Doodle Earth, you can play 8-player on a majority of the maps available
