I'm basing that conclusion from the various maps you've made. Besides, who fights in Sidney during the olympics?cairnswk wrote:Was that aimed at me, unriggableunriggable wrote:I dunno man, you're a bit too ambitious for your own good.cairnswk wrote:u too jako...get some friends in here and vote the map in to survive and you'll have a chance to play it.jako wrote:me too, and i finally started understanding the map too.

fair comment " who does fight in sydney during the olympics"unriggable wrote:I'm basing that conclusion from the various maps you've made. well, that is why i had this slant on delivering goods to the venues, and spectators to the hospitals, but all you seem appear to want to do is fight and conquer something. if you understood the delivery process, then you wouldn't be asking these questions.
And to me this sounds like you're clutching at straws trying to justify your decision to not support this map.
well not supporting it is fine by me, but remember you don't have to like every one of my maps, other people don't like every one of my maps, and you are NOT the only person in this forum, there are others who have opinions, and there are others who chose to play and not to play my maps.
So please if you don't want to play it then that's fine but don't keep returning with half baked excuses about this map, keep your energies for more positive comments on the maps that you do enjoy.
Thanks for comments anyway.

this would be the first city map,
it has great graphics and a great gameplay (i think)
the only thing why they vote no is because they don't understand the gameplay
ps. i managed to sweet talk bri into voting yes. now, i just have to figure out how to sweet talk multiple girls at once and we can get this map rolling again.
pps. i only handle girls, wisse can recruit the guys to vote. i only do girls

Time to retire this much loved sig of mine with a new clan.

Actually, I find this map hard to look at. The individual elements are nice, but there's way too much going on. There are four different kinds of border/attack route lines, a dozen different colors, and half of the map space is legend. As a casual gamer all of this will scare me away.cairnswk wrote:I don't want to see this map go down.
If there are alternatives to game play please offer them as saviours, as i don't think it is the graphics that offend.
Right now the poll stands at 50/50. Those who vote in the Foundry tend to be overly kind in my opinion, so I wouldn't commit too much time to a project unless I had at least two thirds approval. You've got more interesting projects going on that I'd rather see you devote your time to.
This map has been bumped by the PGD, whose mission it is to elevate map threads and bury the bullshit.

Thanks oaktown...i am beginning the think that way....almost! But i never give up hope!oaktown wrote:Actually, I find this map hard to look at. so sad to hear that, i thought it was great new gameplay (after i finally understood it).
hope to see it come back soon, but u could just update it to the 2008 Beijing or 2010 Vancouver olympics (persoanlly i would choose the second one as its my city so i could help out a lot with landmarks.)

somebody said the only way to stop cairnswk from flooding us with maps is to make him a mod. so far i've seen cairnswk abandon 2 maps since he became mod.

“In the beginning God said, the four-dimensional divergence of an antisymmetric, second rank tensor equals zero, and there was light, and it was good. And on the seventh day he rested.”- Michio Kaku
Halloween Hollows - no suport.
Making me a mod will not stop the maps. Slow them maybe, but Sydney will possbly be ressurected in another gameplay wihtout the games and war combined.
Afer all, someone described me as the mad genius somewhere i read yesterday.
There will be two new maps before Xmas and they have nothing to do with xmas.
