I don't really like Rugby so I don't really care. I voted for Australia but I don't think we will win it

and even if the do make it through, they'll have to beat New Zealand in the semi's & after all that, it'll be SA in the final & then there's no chance at least you've got a chance with the cricket...

I've just brought Carter into my squad & made him captain for the next game (nz play portugal), the frenchies also have a piss easy game...otherwise percy is always a good bet. You just need to make sure the guys you pick are in the starting line-up.

right the All Blacks v Portugal, guess the score. i`m going for 160 - 0.

i remember when they beat japan 157 - 7 i think the final score was. i think that was the 99` world cup.

Percy Montgomery is in formidable form, we have the best scrum half in world rugby, our locks are monsters, our pack is huge & our backline is deadlier than it's every been. plus our bench holds so much talent that we could rest our starting 15 for half the world cup...so yeah, we've got that

I remember that game. The All Blacks weren't even trying to score under the posts. They just put the ball down wherever it crossed the line for the kicking practise.

Been in Barcelona for the last week so I've missed the start of our glorious nations blaze to second-time-round Glory [/sarcasm]...

All I can say is that for the last couple of years we've perhaps been overly pessimistic about the form we could expect this world cup. Now it seems that it wasn't grumpy British pessimism but tempered realism. We've got an untested Fly Half who might, when pushed, kick the back backwards between his legs when tackled. Sounds perfect for such a crucial match

I am interested in what the Vickery thing was about, though, as I didn't get to see the game... Did he deserve to be cited?
