It's because remember lack said there was 50,000 lines in the programming
and in feb 19th we used 30,000 a day so by chance we are going to get sticky dice we probably go through about 60,000 lines and if we use more than the amount of lines we automatically will get sticky.

This isnt a flame war so alot of you can shove your cocky coments up your ass. Think before you post? Wow is that old. I did think before I posted. I even observed several times and have good evidence as to why I believe in what I said. Every time the defender rolls a 6, they roll 2-3 more times in a row every time

Scarus wrote:but I don't really believe your story about one army holding off 52

Scarus wrote:Another thought is that when things start to go bad, you have to be wise enough to call it a day, and come back and start again next turn.

Does that tell you why a country held off my 52 men?

Scarus wrote:That's why it's called Risk....

Yea I consider 9 attackers to 1 defender a real Riskzzzzzz

thegrimsleeper wrote:I hate this thread, and I wish you would all just grab a few Kleenex instead of re-posting it every time things don't go your way in-game.

Then why post? I dont need to see you worthless point of view when all you do is contribute nothing and just cause problems.

thegrimsleeper wrote:Come into the Suggestions forum and whine about how the program is rigged and it's really not your fault that you lost.

I wonder why it is called a suggestion&bug report Forum? Hmmmmm. This really has me stumped[/sarcasm]

personally i dont see why people are getting so upset about romber saying he wants to quit and whining about the dice. i think the dice are perfectly fine. also, i think this site would become a lot better if whiners like romber just went ahead and quit so we wouldnt need to listen to their bullshit anymore. romber, please either shut up with the complaining or quit.....

For the record, I don't believe you're telling the truth when you say 52 armies of yours lost to 1 either.

It has gone to far

Postby oman on Sun Mar 26, 2006 1:21 pm

people who have been on this site for a while, do you remember the good days before this premium membership when you could have more games than you need going at once? well now I would like to say that for these people on this site that their parents won't allow to get premium membership, or don't have a paypal account are suffering great losses for what some people call "free conquer club", but the truth needs to be told.

when I first came to this site I was aloud to play 5 games at a time and my life was good, then lackatack came up with this idea of premium membership, and if you didn't buy it then you only get 4 games. this went on for a long time and it was ok, but then terrors struck. I COULD ONLY HAVE 2 GAMES!!!!!!!! there was a time when I could not wait to play risk at conquerclub, but now I am just suffering while I wait until my current games are finished and leave this site.

1st, the game limit was decreased to 4 before the premium membership becomes avaliable.

2nd, in my opinion, lack commited a terrible error giving premium members unlimited games. I think we need a limit for the premium members, although a very higher limit; how about 20 games? Now, people paid for unlimited games, and its unfair limit it to already premium members.

3rd, if the traffic is so heavy, how about banish the cheaters instead of only forbid them to play together?

oman - servers & people's time have to be paid for, it's a shame, but that's the way it goes. Membership is cheap, you probably spend more on chewing gum in a year, and you don't get as much fun out of that. I understan dit's awkward for people without Credit Cards, but maybe you can find someone who'll pay it for you, if you give them cash.

Regarding premium membership, and the load problems. There's many techniques to improve load issues that I'm sure will be implemented over time. It seems like the load problems are a newish problem, so will be dealt with in due course. There's doens't seem to be any terms & conditions on membership, but (for future prem members) it should say there's a limit.

Hey lackatack

I have an idea, I don't know if this is hard or expensive, but do you know how to set this premium membership thing up with the same type of way that you pay for stuff you buy online from fedex? (it has something to do with credit cards.)

THE BASICS OF IT

MORE PLAYERS = LESS GAMES

1. 10 games only several hundred players
2. 5 games reached about 1000 players
3. 4 games reached about 2000 players
4. Premium membership meaning more games for those who are willing to pay
5. 2 games about 4000 players
THIS REALLY ANNOYED ME AS I WAS SAVING GAMES AS ME AND MY M8S WERE GOING TO HAVE A TOURNEY.
6. 1 game about 5000 players
THIS IS THE NEXT STEP LACK WILL take to rob me from my hard earned cash
