Well done Lack for acknowledging there was a serious problem and implementing the obvious fix. DiM I congratulate you for helping to get this resolved but am uneasy at the way you guys went about it. Surely it would have been better if instead of actually winning any games you could all have deadbeated when your opponents were down to the last army, this way every game would have ended in stalemate and nobody would have gained/lost any points. In principle I think all the games won during this experiment should be replayed and gifted back to the opponents so that they get the lost points back, no doubt this will resolve the bad feeling and neg feedback issues.

thanks for the prompt response lack. you rule.lackattack wrote:Okay, no more 2-player terminator or assassin. Thanks fellas for pointing that out.
There is still a larger issue of terminator deadbeats and I invite you all to discuss proposed solutions here.

if we did that and presented a theoretical stat then i don't know if we would have achieved the same reaction. but as i said i'm willing to offer a rematch to all that want it.comic boy wrote:Well done Lack for acknowledging there was a serious problem and implementing the obvious fix. well done, TY lack

Yes but you havent explained the need to actually take points, why not simply deadbeat those games that you were going to win at the very last moment.DiM wrote:if we did that and presented a theoretical stat then i don't know if we would have achieved the same reaction. but as i said i'm willing to offer a rematch to all that want it.comic boy wrote:Well done Lack for acknowledging there was a serious problem and implementing the obvious fix. Then we wouldn't get the points if we were to deadbeat out of games we are winning.comic boy wrote:Yes but you havent explained the need to actually take points, why not simply deadbeat those games that you were going to win at the very last moment.DiM wrote:if we did that and presented a theoretical stat then i don't know if we would have achieved the same reaction. but as i said i'm willing to offer a rematch to all that want it.comic boy wrote:Well done Lack for acknowledging there was a serious problem and implementing the obvious fix. because if i would have done that it would have been a theoretical experiment. by leaving the game when the other one was at 1 army it would have been a theoretical gain of points not an actual one. and as i've seen before people respond better and faster to facts than to theories.comic boy wrote:Yes but you havent explained the need to actually take points, why not simply deadbeat those games that you were going to win at the very last moment.DiM wrote:if we did that and presented a theoretical stat then i don't know if we would have achieved the same reaction. but as i said i'm willing to offer a rematch to all that want it.comic boy wrote:Well done Lack for acknowledging there was a serious problem and implementing the obvious fix. when i first presented my theory about the ignore list and battle royale problem, people said: yeah that's in theory, in practice it's almost impossible to put thousands of people on ignore list and make such a plan bla bla bla. and guess what nothing was done. what if at the next battle royale i do have thousands of people on my ignore list and nobody besides my friends will be able to join? they will take the facts seriously.
again i'm sorry some people felt like victims in this experiment and again i'm willing to offer rematches but i felt that without this drastic measure this whole theory would get ignored again.

pyro and Alex white were both banned/warned. In all fairness, they did the exact same thing. A stern warning should have been applied. Punishment should be fair and consistant.

first of all all of the people in this experiment put together played less games then alex alone. in fact you have more terminator 1v1 games than me.JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:I agreecomic boy wrote:Well done Lack for acknowledging there was a serious problem and implementing the obvious fix. also i'd advise you to look at your neighbors in the top of the scoring list and look for deadbeating in terminator 1v1 games .... like...ummm....comic boy
PS: i agree comic boy's games were created for fun and perhaps a deadbeating agreement was settled prior to the game but nevertheless it's still a case of bending the rules to avoid point loss.
PPS: oh, and johnny my next assignment is to get 1v1 freestyle games banned. so profit now cause your source of point may dwindle. at some point in the experiment i did search for 1v1 freestyle against low rankers like you did and it was so funny to see 5-6 players like that and by the time i tried to join all of them you were already joining some to get some points.

first of all please control your language. i did not insult you at all. you claim you are a great player. let me tell you something great players have respect besides high points. you don't have that respect and never will until you learn how to behave as a true great player.JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:you are dumb...you know that? my net gain from 1 vs 1 games is in the negative. like -300 to -400DiM wrote:first of all all of the people in this experiment put together played less games then alex alone. in fact you have more terminator 1v1 games than me.JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:I agreecomic boy wrote:Well done Lack for acknowledging there was a serious problem and implementing the obvious fix. why do you need a 12-1 win ration? let me tell you why because you're to scared to play against good players. let me see you play against captains and majors not cooks and new recruits. let me see you not abuse the freestyle the way you do.
a great player has honor a great player doesn't need to force cooks into loosing their turn at freestyle just to win a few measly points.
if you play against majors you'll need just a 1.5 to 1 win ratio instead of 12 to 1.
where is the fun in beating hundreds of cooks and sometimes abusing the system to manage a win? do you learn strategy? NO because most cooks have no idea what strategy is. do you have fun in chat? NO because in most games you are silent. do you feel more honorable? NO because you need to abuse the system to beat a lousy cook.
so tell me where is the great player you claim to be?
if you play against people with 2500

i'll tell you what comic boy did he set up a few terminator games against friends with an agreement to deadbeat when the game outcome was clear. it was a battle where none of the players wanted to lose points and simply wanted to test their strength. i see nothing wrong with that but according to your judgement perhaps he should be warned, no? give me a break.JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:and i have no idea what comic boy did. he obvioulsy dint post anything here about it like a noob like you have. if he was in the wrong doing than he should receive a warning too.DiM wrote:first of all all of the people in this experiment put together played less games then alex alone. in fact you have more terminator 1v1 games than me.JOHNNYROCKET24 wrote:I agreecomic boy wrote:Well done Lack for acknowledging there was a serious problem and implementing the obvious fix. so if i posted here about a flaw in the system and managed to succeed in correcting a flaw that makes me a noob?? then by all means johnny i'd like to be the biggest noob ever and manage to make this a better site with my noobish experiments and noobish posts.

go to start a game check 2 players check freestyle put a password and then post in the callouts saying you want just people over 2000 points to join.
this is what a man does when he wants a challenge.
and believe me i'm willing to bet that if you start 100 freestyle 1v1 games and ask in the callouts for people over 2000 points the games will be filled within hours of you posting.

I really dont care. Cause I think that game type is funny too JR.
But why do you bother. Play the games you want against whoever you want. Win alot of games against low ranked players. As you do. It sures takes skill to have almost a full page with only wins. Well done.
But I am not sure how often you start 2 people games.... I can only see you are number 2....

The first two pages were filled with you joining a Freestyle 1v1 game.
Randomly clicking on about 8 of them, I found these two:

lets not get side tracked from your wrong doing here. you deadbeated in games knowingly and on purpose causing issues for other players trying to enjoy games for their paid memberships. Just like the others that have done the same in the recent past, you should be issued a warning. Any more experiments should be ran through Lack and done so with the proper personel which may or may not include your help.

perhaps you mean you want to be the first to take his turn.
simple stay online and start few games at a time.
post 5 games (guaranteed to be filled in a matter of minutes) take turns then post another 5 and so on.
it is totally doable. but the problem is that you don't want to play against high ranked people.
i said earlier that at some point i started hunting for freestyle 1v1 games. i found a guy with 6 such games (he was a cook) i joined 3 and at the same time you joined 3. at that moment there were 5 more freestyle 1v1 games. 3 where made by low ranked players 1 cook and 2 cadets and 2 were made by a guy that was a sergeant 1st class. so i just waited to see what you join. exactly as i suspected you joined the cook and the 2 cadets but the games of the sergeant were still there. i stayed on for 10 more minutes and 1 more game appeared. another cook. you joined that one too. the sergeant was still there.
why?
