Since about half of the members are American, half of the members on the top of the high score list should also be American, if we assume that they are as good as the rest of the members, like they - apparently - are. Like I said before, half of the players at the bottom are American and half of the players in the middle are American also. Therefore, American CC players are not better than players from foreign countries and saying that can only be called arrogance and if not so, ignorance, like Americans are (in my opinion undeservedly) known for.

Your position assumes that all players are equal in ability, which they are not. Were all the American players the same, then there should be a nice bell curve of American distribution. But there is not.

We are in agreement of course that "American CC players are not better than players from foreign countries". BUT your claim is that the reason those players are on top of the list is because of the sheer number of Americans registered on CC. By saying this, You are actually backing his arrogant & nationalistic claim.

I am asserting that ones nationality or number of countrymen registered has nothing to do with ones Risk playing ability (I am a perfect example.

) and the reason they are on the top 10 is because they are good players.

Were it a simple numbers game, China would win every medal in the Olympics as they have the largest population to draw from. But they do not.

More players only increases the opportunity to have top players. It doesn't automatically mean there will be top players from that increased base.

At the moment the Americans are on top. I'll be up there soon anyway. Representing Scotland. What we lack in numbers we make up for.. in lack of numbers. Which means nothing but! Does nothing mean nothing? Eeeh?

No? Screw you guys.

Anyway, it is clear what's happening. The Americans are cheating. What the f*ck else explains it??

I saw this from tahititwininhiniw (or what his name is).... (so the numbers are his)

tanyway.... if you check the countries where CC players are from.. Sweden has less then 0.3 %.. (I dont think it would be true, but the numbers are like that)...

But still... We have 10% of the generals.. But only perhaps 2 out of 1000 players are from Sweden...

I stated that since Americans have the same number of players on the top of the high score list, as they have over all in the game, they are about the same strength as other nations in this game. I fail to see why Americans should then all be of the same strength compared to each other.

The numbers of players has nothing to do with player ability, but it has to do with the number of players on the top of the high score list. Of course individuals from one country can better in something than individuals from other country for various reasons.

Example:

Assume that 20% of chess players in Ukraine are from Russia. 20% of the top ten players in Ukraine are Russian. Are chess playing Russians in Ukraine better, worse, or as good as other chess players there, if we were to draw conclusion from that alone?

That is all I'm saying.

I have an analogy.

Assume that 20% of Americans F*$#% rock. Now assume that the other 80% F!@#$% rock also. Now assume that everyone else from every other country is a jealous hater. Do we even have to make a thread to illustrate this fact because it's so blatantly obvious? We shouldn't have to but we can't draw conclusions from this fact alone.

I am sick and tired of you guy's picking on my evidently superior cousins to the South! After all they won the WORLD series (Nobody else was invited!) They dominate the NFL (nobody else was invited!) They control the NHL(all the players are Canadian!) and they know Soccer is for girls!(They can't play!) U.S.A.! U.S.A,! U,S,A,!
