Negative Feedback [Outdated]
What steps do I need to take to remove negative feedback that was given to me by a complete jerk for no reason?

Re: Negative Feedback
feedback should be factual and about the game which it relates to and should not be retalliatory. If it breaks one of those guidelines then you can pm wicked who will investigate and remove it if appropriate.carblue5757 wrote:What steps do I need to take to remove negative feedback that was given to me by a complete jerk for no reason?
Having read the feedback it clearly does not relate to the game so will be an automatic removal.

nonono, please don't PM me, or any other mod. Go to the HELP tab up top of this page and fill out an eticket to request feedback removal, IF the feedback breaks one of the guidelines. However, I advise before you do this to check all the feedback you've left and make sure all of that meets the guidelines as well, since we will be checking. Thanks!

ok, apologies, never new about etickets - how long have they been going.wicked wrote:The point is to tell people how to get a feedback removed correctly, since you told him how to do it incorrectly. If you're going to answer in Q&A, make sure you actually know the answer.
Nevertheless you could save everyone the hassle by hitting the key that says del

This is a quote from my email by an admin. Can someone please explain to me why the negative feedback I left this guy was deemed retaliatory feedback and deleted.Feedback you left for GustavusAdolphus:
Gave me negative feedback for no reason. Well he did have a reason... and that was becuase he thought my name was dumb and decided to suggest another inappropriate name for me. Don't play if you care about your feedback
Reason for deletion: Retaliatory feedback
I agree that it appears retaliatory, but how am I supposed to let others know that this guy leaves neg feedback for stupid reasons. He didnt do anything wrong until he left me neg feedback. I think others would like to know about a Mr. GustavusAdolphus

People who are leaving unfair feedbacks like the person you mentioned, should be reported to the mods via eticket. Let us handle it, don't leave retaliatory feedback. Some of these people who leave that kind of feedback are fishing for negatives, which we'll put a stop to. So don't let someone tarnish your feedback status, as deleted feedbacks stay on your record, rather let us handle it.
