Lack, I am sorry, but do you know what testing is? It is not the first time you deploy something without proper testing. Just guess-works...lackattack wrote:The AJAX game chat I just put in somehow broke the monkey.
If you are having problems please disable the monkey (click on the monkey face) until someone makes an updated version of the script you are using.
Sorry for the inconvenience, I didn't expect any side-effects.

It looks like the input to map.php changed, from map.php?map=...&resolution=...&armies=X-X,X-X,... to map.php?map=mapXXXX..
The greasemonkey script depended on parsing that for information, so the new format makes it get all confused. Worse, I don't any way to fix it, since the information on how many armies are where just isn't there.

Alright... let me expalin myself with a bit more tact. I don't want to break the scripts, and I really don't want to permanently break them. But since I don't really know their inner workings I get caught off-guard when I change something that I didn't realize the script depended on, as is the case here.
Come to think of it, with the changes I made, you can no longer get those letters onto the map for colourblind scripts. That's pretty bad.
I can keep the AJAX chat and temporarily switch back the map url to the old version so the scripts still work. That will buy me some time to coordinate a solution with Tr0y & stocksr before the rest of AJAX is done.

yes we are ready to kill againlackattack wrote:Are the cripts working now?
That was pretty fast turn around. Thanks for acting quickly. I know it probably was not much work to revert, but its still nice to see the responsiveness for fixing a problem that has to do with add-ons that you do not support.
Like others, I find the game almost unplayable without GM, nice to have it back.
