But, in a very good chance, another partner doesn't even look at the chat. If they do end up losing because of this reason, it's not fair to person that wants to communicate but the other partner won't reply in the chat.AK_iceman wrote:I don't like it. Ok, so if your partner doesn't read the chat... send him a PM.Gilligan wrote:But, in a very good chance, another partner doesn't even look at the chat. And, what if the uncommunicative partner has a different strategy in mind, but you kill him off for cards and that totally loses the game for both of you.
I'd like to see communication in team games encouraged, not become self-sufficient and be able to play without talking to your teammate.
I like where your head's at, but just not this particular idea.
That's up to lack! Seems most everyone's for it though. Maybe add a poll to show lack how most support it?Gilligan wrote:You think Lack will go for it?
It'll be much easier to just see their cards, sometimes I forget to mention it to my teammate and vice versa. I've often been left wondering what my partner is holding when trying to plan a move. Sure you can ask, but who wants to wait for an answer? It's much easier, especially in a sequential game, to plan a strategy at/before your turn, instead of having to wait for a partner to answer and check back and wait. What a hassle. Not many have time for that.
Re: Ability to see teammates cards
just use game chatGilligan wrote:I think we should be able to see your teammates cards in doubles or triples games. Underneath (or next to) your own cards, it could say, for example, if my partner is lackattack, in a doubles game, it could be:
My cards: Alaska Congo Scandinavia lackattack's cards: Indonesia Brazil Kamchatka
Why it is needed:
If a teammate is nearly dead, and has 4 cards, it is your turn, and you are deciding whether he will be safe with a set on his turn. It turns out that he had no set, and then gets eliminated by the other team. I know we could use the chat, but if you have a partner that doesn't even LOOK at the chat, it would be very useful.

.....Are you kidding? Did you read this thread AT ALL?

I am totally in agreement with that.wicked wrote:That's up to lack! Seems most everyone's for it though. Maybe add a poll to show lack how most support it?Gilligan wrote:You think Lack will go for it?

I have a tendency to ignore everything anyone without an Avatar says, and with yours gone... Well, it's just, awkward.AK_iceman wrote:I don't like it. Team games are all about communication, if you want to know what cards your partner has, then just ask them.
I like the idea though, but I wouldn't say it is landslide support like Wicked indicated. Seems to be half & half.
Warning: You may be reading a really old topic.
Well if someone is using a small map on a bad resolution the cards will word wrap to be 2 or even 3 lines.Gilligan wrote:How would it clutter the page if it would be on the same line as your ow cards?AndyDufresne wrote:The only downside I see is cluttering up the game page.

Seeing your partners cards........... I like the idea...
What about a card "pool" for all your teams cards to go into that all team members have access to them at any time?....
It would still make people communicate in the game...by discussing how and when to use them..
Just an idea.....probably a bad one....
I'm gonna get flamed aren't I?.......

Awesome Idea...It definitely will help Strategy... and would help if a player communicated the Wrong info By Accident.... Like if he put Guineas instead of Guyana Or New Guinea or Like in Chinese checkers.. Center I but he meant Center l....also it is easier then asking in a triples game what 5 cards each player has
