I know many colors, red and green being two often fall into the same shade of grey when they are desaturated but this wasnt the case with these particular colors so i was curious if the color blind person saw a totally desaturated image or if the hues were entirely different.
either way i don't think me being a graphic designer should qualify as an expert on color blindness or any other disability.
oh and drop the sarcasm, its annoying.
i think it's that the reds and greens often look as if they are the same colour or hue. it's not that the colour is removed, but that the difference between them is reduced significantly from that of a person who doesn't have red/green colour blindness.
i have a slight red/green colour blindness, and on some maps i have problems distinguishing reds and greens, but, personally, i have no problems with the numbers you have currently. however, i can see how some people may have problems reading them.
