Personally, I would have to go with Bill Haley and the Comets, for starting Rock n Roll

theres is nothing wrong with them, and i do like them

its just i wouldnt consider them greatest alltime,

but then again, im one of the few who would consider rush the greatest all time too

all of the other bands named i love, cept for maybe pearl jam, but they are pretty good

I kinda hate how everyone bags on rappers. Sure they dont actually play the instruments, but SOME of them are quite talented lyricists.

I don't know. If we're talking influence the Beatles and Beethoven are up there, but strictly music, hmmm, probably Nirvana, though I really think we should break this up into categories. Otherwise you might just say, "who is your favorite band?"

My nomination goes to Led Zeppelin. Over the Hills and Far Away being the best song ever in existence.
