Are Gary and riskiermanny CHEATING?

They came to my notice in a game that I started.

Check games 7859, 7797, 7738, 7664, 7165 for evidence.

If these two don't share DNA, spit and Brain Waves, then they are at least most certainly joined at the hip.

I think any cheaters should have their IP's blocked. Let them continue playing and the honest players will most certainly leave.

I concur

*looks at first two games*cheaters but i should check the others

This got me looking a little bit deeper.

This, in my opinion, Cheater/Moron GARY made the mistake of calling his undisclosed/clone/teammate Riskiermanny "misha" in the open dialoge during my game. Poor, stupid Gary must have forgotten what game he was in....

"misha" had been in 4 previous games with Gary.
#2235, #4321, #5055, #7646

#4321 Is a pretty good picture of how one would take out oneself at the end of a game. Gary seems to have used his "misha" to actually win against one of the best rated players on the Board. Pay attention to the beginning and the ending of this game.

Lack: You're too freakin' busy, but how about an IP check on this?

I'm hoping you decide to choose on a good group of Moderators for this burgeoning site. I think your best luck may depend in no small part on eradicating these miscreants.

I believe Lack is being much less severe than he should. He is only warning the cheaters, and banning them from playing together their alter-egos. I think cheaters should be completly banned (or I will create a second account to me, so I can play more than 4 games :wink:

Check the game and you will see what I mean.

Definate IP lock should be in order, but it's YOUR site.

But...., If I'm penalized for playing these cheating morons, you might as well ban my IP address, because I will be out of here.

Sorry for having to expouse my feelings, but I have much better things to do than play cheaters.

Gary and riskiermanny and misha are multis. They have been warned and blocked from playing together again.

I may make the punishments harsher in the future but for now this seems to be doing the trick.

There is nothing I can do about the games in progress. I have a policy of not messing around with specific games.

Only one question: Will there be a way that players can be assured to never have to play cheaters again? I mean, they can just jump in on anyones games.

Like I said before...You're site, Lack. But, may I humbly suggest that you are being too lenient on these assholes.

Maybe a "Scarlet Letter" that shows on anyone convicted of cheating in Conquer Club, and the ability of any person starting a game to preclude anyone CONVICTED of cheating.

I really don't have the time, or desire to play these misfits, and I am sure my feelings are shared by others less vocal than I.

I'd BAN the culprits. But, then again, not my site. I'll wait and decide if I should leave.....The Losers will never find me! :mrgreen:

keep in mind Patroclus, that this site is only 2 1/2 months old. I'm still learning, developing a strategy for cheaters.

The "Scarlet Letter" is a good idea. Maybe some sort of cross between that and an eBay style ratings system. That way, soft evidence can build up over time.

But this stuff takes time to evolve, and if you leave then you're gonna be the loser.

Yeah.....it's doing the trick. They are still at it in the same game where they initially got caught.

I can't imagine how good I would do if I cheated. These people get away with it and they're morons.

Man.....I am just waiting for my game with these two/one to finish. Can't play another game until it's done.

I play honorably and lose to cheaters, and they continue to play.......

I'd ax them as sure as I've felled a thousand trees.....(ax from the system....nothing personal, mind you.....even if they are at the lower end of the gene pool).
