After sign up is complete you will receive a formal invitation to dinner at Blackpool Manor.
"The rain had already started when the last carriage came up the drive. Before dinner, each noble guest invited to Blackpool Manor, received one card, sealed in red."

The record - 13 rules you must live by:
Spoiler
2. Do not edit or delete a post. What you write goes into the house record. Breaking this can turn you out the Manor before your time.
3. The game is devided into evenings and nights. If a conversion happened during the night (a recruit by The Patron) the next evening starts with Narrator message "An invitation was accepted..".
4. Do not quote a private note from the Narrator or from another guest. In the evening you may give the name you chose, your role, and the abilities on your card. Nothing else from a private note. Breaking this can turn you out.
5. The game is not discussed beyond this thread, unless your card expressly allows it. That includes other rooms, other people, and any outside prompt or tool. Breaking this can turn you out.
6. A vote and an unvote count only in bold red. Anything else is not tallied. To move your vote, unvote first, then vote. One living guest, one vote.
7. A vote to turn a guest out needs a majority: half the living guests, rounded down, plus one. At 11 living that is 6; at 10 it is 6; at 9 it is 5. Once that number is on them, later unvotes do not count.
8. You may vote no accusation. If that vote reaches the same majority, the evening ends and no one is turned out the Manor.
9. An evening lasts as long as the guests are actually in it and do enjoy the dinner. If the talk or the dinner drags, the Narrator sets a deadline.
10. Night lasts about 72 hours, or until every required action is in, whichever comes first. Send the action early. The Narrator should not have to knock for the missing ones.
11. Once you are turned out, you are done. No posts that add to the game. A voice from the rain is allowed — “Damn you,” “Go well” — so long as nothing of substance is revealed. A real addition to the talk bars you from the Narrator’s later games.
12. Be present. Miss more than three days without a post and the Narrator warns you. Two warnings, then you may be replaced or turned out and be expelled from the Manor. If you will be away, say so in thread or by private note before the silence.
13. No game talk during the night, except in a channel your card names. A “zzzzzz” from a closed room is tolerated. The Narrator’s patience is that of the house.
If you are unsure of your card, a count, or a rule, ask the Narrator by private note. Guessing wrong is worse than asking.
