Right now I am good with what Sonic is proposing. If anything given there is nothing better being offered giving more time in the day I would see it as gives the things more time to plan for night and following days especially if hjelp is a hit. If not it is also giving time to seed more confusion which again has me suspect on you for now flooding the forum in all possible ways. Not saying checking kong isn't a bad idea I agree but him offering a claim I don't see actually moves the marker at all, if anything a BT or FT solves that. I also do not see the benefit of me making a claim when all I would be doing is adding another name the things know to cross off the list of ones to use. One more thing I will add is if the things survives tonight I would also say I should be a good option for BT. Mainly cause Sonic might seem the most obvious one for the thing to turn given he is clean today and leading the town wagon but I have also been closely agreeing and following his lead so would make a good second choice to turn, just a note for town tomorrow if things are different which i hope it won't be the case and we get the OG tonight buying us that needed day for town.

Dev - an innocent Dev could prove his innocence with no downside if not Mac . (and actually I think no downside if Mac - but thats more difficult to show - and I think in all cirumstances if not Mac)

I can't prove my innocence in absence of a name claim by either Dev or Kong - but innocent I am (and will be shown to be)
Hjlep and Kong is more likely as a scum alliance - to Sonic thinking anyway - and mine- if I wasn't challenging name claim WITH both Dev and Kong declining/absentees so far.
Dev has option of unvoting at least if he is unsure/doesn't want to signify either way whether Mac or not.
Neither name claiming actually evidences my innocence and possibly Hjelps.
One of Dev or Kong name claiming places the onus on the other to do so too.

Buying that needed day for town doesn't wash. It'd be a cop out for not accepting the innocence challenge.
If uncertain Dev just unvote and so signify that Kong should innocence name claim.

Thats not me playing the clock down - its me countering either
a. a correct lynch of Hjelp followed by a misburn of me.
or
b. a Dev/Kong possibly to be joined by a recruited Sonic and/or Mac/backup runnaway combination.

The only thing thats placing me in the firing line right now is Sonics tenuous theory that a. Hjelp is infected and b. If so I'm burned - that and his inflated and incorrect stated certinty that he can/will win for uninfected come what may.

Take some of the tenuousness out of the equation and one or other of Dev or Kong state your name (s) and make the move to prove your indidual innocence(s) if innocence(s) they are!!

I do not follow your logic, to me really doesn't make sense. Seems like a hail mary trying to stop your ass from being fried. If you were town you wouldn't be throwing everything on you being the one saved. In previous games as town you brought forward logical possibilities but did not have this added element of self preservation. Again simply adds points on your sus tally list so I don't see that any of this is doing you any favours.

I did ask Sonic about the specifics of FT-roles in one of my last posts, don't think I ever got a response, but would be good to have that answered. Can we please not have anymore FT or backup FT role claims? Without fully spelling it out, that will turn out very bad for town considering how this game is structured.

I apologize to town for doing this, as I don't think it's the correct play in most circumstances, but I will claim so that we can cut down on some of the flood of bogus posts that seem to be burying everything else. I am Norris, part of the Science Team. Can guarantee nobody else would know that or have the same role.

do not believe anyone has claimed a FT role but perhaps i'm wrong. Do not thing you providing a claim helps unless another Norris pops up otherwise you just shortened the list of suspects for the thing
