South Pole doesn't reset to 30, or any amount - it just loses 10 troops per turn, like the map legend states.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I just got rushed in a game not knowing that the ice shelves somehow don't adhere to the trench warfare (i.e. only being able to attack/move through one territory per turn).. something not clear in the bottom legend, and also quite unintuitive IMO.

Also unclear from the bottom legend is the fact that territories lose one troop per turn but never go to zero unless attacked by another player, I'm thinking I'm far from the only one increasing all his 1-territories to 2 each turn to keep them alive for at least a few turns before making contact with the opposing player and seeing him stay alive with one troop per territory.

Neither of these are Antarctica specific. Just how killer neutrals and decay work :)
