# New Generation

Let's face it: Risk players are dying off. Excuse the pun.

And with us goes the appreciation for maps depicting old-world geography, ancient empires, historic battles, and places that existed before Wi-Fi.

So I propose a new generation of Conquer Club maps aimed at the under-30, once-a-week-shower crowd.

Pick one of whatever the kids are playing these days — Fortnite, Call of Duty, Minecraft, Roblox, whatever — and build a CC map around its world, battlefield, regions, or whatever they call countries now.

I'm sure at least one of these games has enough geography to divide into territories and bonuses. Maybe we even attract some new blood to CC before the rest of us die off.

And for the traditionalists who insist every Conquer Club map should have some historical significance, that's fine too.

Make a **Halo** map.

It's over 25 years old.

That's basically the Roman Empire to these kids.
