Re: Civilitas High - Lesson 4: Arts

Post by homer_jay »

i was all in on a charle lynch D2 and proved to be right. and now, it seems that the only reason there's any suspicion on me now is that i'm all in on a max lynch. DDS said at the end of D3 that dev should be pressured. i'm not sure about that. he hasn't had the most solid game play, but i think evidence against him is circumstantial. he didn't vote charle, but that could be seen as trying to create other discussion, knowing there was no way charle was going to survive.

so i realize when one person has me top of list and another has me 2nd is not when i should be defending someone else high on the suspect lists lol. but i just don't believe dev is the biggest suspect right now. max's game play since he came in has screamed of scum. and there was plenty of suspicion about king on D1. he managed to fly under the radar later on, but i think that was more to do with all the heat being on charle and LC for two days that there wasn't room for much else. yeah, he claimed wallflower. but it's easy to mimic a claim after others have already done it. i don't think that shows anything.

Yes, LC obviously wants scum to win, no dispute about that. He also knows that he is about to be lynched and exposed as scum, so he wants to sow doubt and confusion in different ways. Sure, he doesn't argue that homer or I are scum. He also doesn't argue that you are scum, and says you look the most townie. He also says DDS is the most likely to be scum, and we certainly know that isn't true. Do you see how there's no rhyme or reason beyond trying to confuse things? It's the same way scum players will say they are suspicious of a mix of town and fellow scum players in early game scum-lists, and also try to clear a mix of town and fellow scum players.

Loose wants scum to win, nothing he says is intended to help town, he is trying to sow chaos and is guaranteed to be mixing truth and lies (unless you want to claim he was only lying throughout and you're actually scum) - deciding someone is scum or town based on what a scum player tells you is ridiculously asinine, and I truly hope it is very clear to you why that might be.
And LC left you two, kongming and homer, out of the list - when argued regarding scum or not. LC did know who the scums are. That’s why he left you two outside the arguing.

There are only 6 left and I see that the mass claim gained some attention but fell mute and some are against but I offer a separate ask. Not a mass claim in what your role is but simply who your persona is not what you do. I have no issue since mine is in the open but would be curious who would hide away.

What is your persona?
Wallflower.

There might be some merit to that but again I think you're just giving scum unnecessary information. I would say even if everyone goes for this that any town PR's if there are any hold that info back so not to give scum a plain easy target

we lost our protector. not sure if we would have another one. that's why i don't like the idea of a mass claim.

Yeah not sure about protector either. And I'd be more open to the persona claim comparatively, but seems nobody else is interested, and I do think dev's reasoning is reasonable for a town player to make, things will come up but no need to give scum more information before we have to.

this is a bad time to go through a no-lynch, but it's still better than a mis-lynch. if we lynch a townie and then lose another at recess, it's 2-2 and we have no chance. if we can't come to a consensus, we go into next class with a 3-2 numbers edge. not the best spot to be in, but not unwinnable.

best scenario would still be if the other 3 who haven't voted let us know where they would want to vote and we can see where we might be at numbers wise.

As of right now my vote would go to kong simply because of Trafs play before getting subbed in which was similiar tyo how he played as scum before and his no vote on Charle. Same could be said on me not hammering Charle but Charle was on my list with LC for scum from the beginning. Out of those still alive the vote on Charle had Homer, KingM (Max), DJF, hjelp. Unless a scum voted on another scum to scurry by then that leaves me and kong.

Alright students,

Thanks for working diligently on your projects with minimal disruption in class in terms of talking. I do appreciate it when students just get bogged down on their portfolio. If you keep this up, I'm sure you'll skate through arts class easily. Now, go have a fulfilling recess.

Attention students,

This is a very important announcement, so please listen carefully. Would hjelp please report to the principal's office immediately? If any of you other students see him, make sure to stress that it is imperative that he reports to the principal's office now.

Thank you and please enjoy the rest of recess before next class.

LESSON 4: PE

Attention students,

I'm your PE teacher, Miss Hapen. Before any of you even think about sneaking out of class with whatever bollocks excuse you think might do the trick, I want you to hit the floor. Burpees. GO! One, two, three! Let's get that pulse up! Let the dopamine flow with these aerobic exercises. It's good for you and for you learning capabilities. Especially after having sat through four lessons. Your latest one was arts, right? BORING! Later, we're looking at the theoretical aspects of PE in order to get you good and ready for the exam later this semester, which is divided into a practical and a theoretical part. For now, however, let's get exercising! Follow me around the track!

ok. time to make a reveal. this message is intended for dev and max. i am the school geek. my role is to get info on one player every recess.

in the last two recesses, i have learned that dev and max are both good kids. so now it comes down to: do we believe we have one or two bad kids left? personally, i believe we have two and we win by sending kong and DJF to the principals office in successive days. but we can discuss who is more likely the bad kid to target first, in case there's only one left

Interesting play to get ahead of things. It does make me think there could be two scum - I suppose it's technically also possible you're town though. I'd rather have waited a bit, but since we're at the point of doing reveals and I don't want this to go down the wrong path, I am the teacher's pet. Once per game on an even night I'm able to ask for information on another student. On an odd night I'm able to keep another student in the teacher's lounge for recess, which protects + roleblocks them. From what you've said, I assume you already had a result on Dev being innocent yesterday? That feels like something that should have been shared earlier at this stage of the game when town needed info to solve for the best lynch. Definitely should have came up yesterday when we were at a deadlock and the game was in danger of ending that day with a mislynch.

Given all the indirect evidence against dev, I investigated him last night, and did get an innocent result, which seems good barring any godfather or redirection scum mischief, so I'm no longer interesting in going after him. I would like to know if he has anything useful to share though if possible. And homer, if you are a town cop do you have other results from past nights??

I also just want to add that one of the reasons I was so frustrated by the traf absence nonsense was that I couldn't at the time share why I knew so firmly he was just legitimately AWOL - he was absent during the day(s) obviously, but he also wouldn't even respond to ragian messages or use a power at night either.

OK, let's say we believe you, there's still a problem. You're suspecting DJF, the first one to claim Wallflower, D1, before the Wallflower role was made public. So did I and hjelp (probably).

i'm not suspecting anybody. i'm laying out what i've learned. out of the 5 remaining players, i know three of us are good kids. there are two that remain unknowns to me. they could be both scum. could be we only have one left. hence why me saying we should figure out who to target first.

you were tops on my suspect list in the last class. i was surprised to learn you're a good kid.. but now that we have a majority i feel confident in working with, i see no reason to stay quiet about my role. even if i get killed tonight, we should be able to win this game.

there was no chance of a mislynch. i did come out and defend dev, trying to redirect heat away from him. i didn't want to reveal my role though because i was worried about being targetted for the bad kids to send me to the office. if the vote was going in a way that would have resulted in dev being lynched, i would have spoken up.

as for previous info, recess 1 i investigated charle and got a result of baddie.
recess 2 i investigated LC and got that he's not a baddie.
recess 3 i got dev is a good kid and recess 4 max is a good kid

in hindsight, i notice a difference between LC not being bad and dev and max being good. so that confirms to me that LC was a 3rd party. but the info i got on LC was why i didn't vote for him on D3. however, he was so far gone and his game play was so erratic that i didn't want to reveal myself defending him that early in the game. knowing what i know now, i'm glad i made that decision and let the lynch go forward.

i'm going to wait on thoughts from dev before putting in a vote

Nobody posting, nobody voting, Rags, you might as well declare the next recess right now, again without any warning, this way Scum wins, that's obviously what you want anyway.

Excuse me? Despite your confusing run-on punctuation, I presume that you're accusing me of a) having declared recess without warning (I have done no such thing) and b) siding with any alignment in the game (I'm siding with no one). If you're accusing me of that, you can $#¤% right off.

nobody has posted over the weekend. in a game down to 5 players, your reaction is crazy over the top for people not being online on a summer weekend.

and that's not even factoring in the part calling rag's integrity into question for absolutely no reason
