i'll create a 3 game seeding round that will have you play a random player from each poly setting.
this is not meant to be a defining picture of skill on the map, more like just a way to group the bracket in a way that will hopefully create the best final. to explain better;
there will only be 4 possible results. 3-0, 2-1, 1-2, 0-3. with 16 players, this will obviously create tie situations.
so, for each bracket the tiebreaks will be fairly random, with the favor going towards the player that won the poly setting on the bracket at hand, for instance, two players both have a 2-1 record, player A lost the poly 2, and player B lost the poly 3, well player A seed will be higher on poly 3 bracket, while player B seed will be higher on poly 2 bracket. after that, randomness will take over. this isn't meant to be confusing, but that
s the best i can explain it.
round 1 will be a single game,
round 2 will be 3 games,
semi final will be 3 games
final will be 5 games.
if you win 2 brackets, you are the grand champion.
if we have 3 different bracket winners, we'll play 4- [three player standards]. and with that result, if one player wins 3 games, you will be declared the champion,
if then, we still have a tie with 2 players each winning 2 games, we will have a final showdown of those 2 players with 7 games,[1 - 1v1 standard] [2 - poly 2] [2 - poly 3] [2 - poly 4]
settings will be as follows;
standard games; default +foggy +flat rate +20 round limit
1v1; default +no spoils +20 round limit
poly 2; default +foggy +unlimited reinforcement +20 round limit
poly 3; default +nuclear +20 round limit
poly 4; default +foggy +no spoils +20 round limit
all bracket winners will get 1 month premium, grand champion will get 3 months premium plus the dumb trophy that you have to be a detective to find and see.
