Charle was a perfect fall guy for mafia - no powers in his reveal.
But if I had been in mafia chat with him - believe me I would have argued against his janitor thing, not sure about his history teacher claim or his note received thing, but I would have waited for a claim to get off the vote on him D1.

But then go suspicious on Charle whilst hedging his bets by going suspicious on others too.
That all seemed so fake to me.

Its fairly standard play on this site for 1 mafia to be on mafia lynch votes and DDS is an old hand on this site.

I was too unsure that the lynch was correct is the short answer.

Longer answer is around what I was thinking at different points within D1 and D2.
D1 there was a dynamic of a mafia Charle couldn't be so dumb could he, and no I don't agree with what DDS is saying I don't agree with the strategy he is saying I don't trust DDS I'm uncomfortable being in any alignment with him right now.
D2 that dynamic was more powerful.
More powerful because waiting for and initially missing Charle's information then on reading it I presumed if Charle had been mafia he would have discussed what he was going to do with Mafia before doing it and making his reveal and I came to the conclusion it might have been made up but it was also credible or too incredible to have been made up. (I will point out I was asking Charle some questions around it) I thought the "information could have been a greencheck on Charle by another player - a 1 shot investigative Charle can only receive the note/gossip if town aligned.
A mislynch of a town and truthful Charle given his claims would have been a big mislynch.
More powerful re suspicions of DDS too. There's such a lot he was saying and portraying I didn't and don't agree with around what this game is about. I'm rock solid that this is not a wallflowers are innocent game. He even went so far as to cut off discussions. He'd been making assertions about certainties he couldn't have had and which closed off lines of probing and discussion. I suspected DDS more than Charle.
I do suspect DDS more than anyone else.

Wallflowers dont make sense as all vanillas. Persuading investigatives not to look at wallflowers and keeping as many true wallflowers in with fake one, would be the play for a mafia armef with a fake wallflower claim

I'm pushing the wallflower thing because it has so far proven to be our best bet in confirming town. Why you push back on this idea is probably because something along the lines of "Well, town figuring out who is who goes against I play, grr mad!"

I never claimed this a complete vanilla game. It's a "More or Less" plain game, verbatim. So far it clearly shows that is the case.
Wallflowers = Townies/Vanilla Town
Charle = Cheerleader/Goon
HotBunny = Hippie/Bodyguard
Annie = Angry Teen. This is the only one so far that broke norms. I've never seen a role that operates like this, or at least going off of the top of my head, plays something like a Jester or something. It's not normal/vanilla.

This is why I don't want to engage with you. This just detracts from actual scum hunting and goes back full circle of previous arguments that just devolve into "nuh uh!" "ya huh!" Pick someone else.

Why doesn't it make sense? Rags could have said we're all a bunch of napkins, just happens to be the flavor. You trying to discredit it, but say you're also vanilla while also claiming you know how many scum there are is pretty damn weak and silly argument.

this back and forth seems to be repetitive and going nowhere. i'm not convinced enough to drop the hammer to LC (i think he's at L-1, but haven't had mod confirmation on that). but the fact he's been there means something.

I'm actually not sure what you are arguing in the above but as to the pm ing Ragian I'd only if I felt like it pm Ragian perhaps if I was mafia and I think that is what you are implying.

What if instead of me having made the logical argument as to why I didn't think all claimed Wallflowers were town I had said first of all "That Would Be/Seems Too Easy"?

It looks to me you are dead set on driving a mistake pushing an easy dodgy answer as opposed to the logically correct answer.
Do you really think Ragian wouldn't consider all or most angles and try to create a balanced game.

Town has to ask ourselves where is the Mafia power in this game because they have to have some just based on the reveals of Town players and the lack of power in Charle's reveal.
Bunny's reveal implies Town has more powers as yet unrevealed but almost certainly of some investigative nature.

I didn’t check history but if I recall the claim wallflower is made by - Djf, DDS, hjelp, Kingm and LC having claimed sort of info from the start.

This means if LC flips town there were three PR of nine from the start and three Mafias. Seems as a difficult task for Townies having three PR?
