Re: Post Site Lag Issues Here!
For the last 12 hours, entering a game takes around 10 seconds and all actions time out (10 seconds) then when I hit okay, they immediately complete.
So it seems like a that popup is showing up for no reason and it's taking 10 seconds as a bas3line to display the action results.
Each roll, auto attack, advance selection, ending of a turn phase has this issue for me. And there is no way I'll be able to talk all my turns on time

on another front: WHY have pictures that were always fine to fit in as avatars, no longer good? Players that have been on here for decades are gettin' pissed. But at least I have one in place, although Im not able to change it. I will have 20 years on this site in November............get on it, or I may not celebrate 21 years here.

glide is correct. It seems that gif files are not able to be set as avatars at this time. An error message appears stating the following:glide wrote: Fri Jun 12, 2026 9:05 am on another front: WHY have pictures that were always fine to fit in as avatars, no longer good? Could not upload the file. Possibly not a legal image file. Images must be square and PNG, JPG or GIF. Detected image size: 100x100.
Please fix this as my profile feels incomplete without my avatar. Thanks

Re: Post Site Lag Issues Here!
Some interactions have crazy lag today. And then other actions are super quick. The ones that lag usually aren't getting to the time out but getting close. This is both in-game actions and trying to navigate the UI into games or forums
Re: Post Site Lag Issues Here!
almost unplayable this afternoon
Re: Post Site Lag Issues Here!
The site isn’t displaying properly either, the table with territory count and cards isn’t showing together with the map page…is anyone else experiencing this?

Re: Post Site Lag Issues Here!
Able to play one turn within a reasonable amount of time. However moving to next game, to start next turn it times out, and any action thereafter requires refreshing taking up to 30 seconds. Attempting to deploy and assault, or complete a basic turn is ridiculous under the current conditions!

Re: Post Site Lag Issues Here!
Just figured I'd note - if we don't get an update from webmaster, or some staff member on how this is going to be resolved, or a plan and some sort of estimated timeline. I'm done after my premium runs out. I assume this has to do with the updates several months ago - but seems like its going to be left in this state.
Less players, and now its a pain in the ass to finish turns 70-80% of the time I login. My chat messages disappear 30% of the time with a timeout message, meaning communication only works reliably if you have off-site ways to do so.

The server has been becoming under sustained load and the webmaster is aware of this. He is looking into it.

Re: Post Site Lag Issues Here!
That's great and all that he is "aware", but I've said this before and I will say it again, it is rude to not at least update mods and players on continuing issues...if BW doesn't have the time to do that, maybe the only other person who actually makes money running the site should handle more often.
I truly feel that the mods who are volunteering their time to help run the site should at least be given the respect of being informed what the hell is going on so we can inform the players. We just look like morons scratching our asses because we don't ever know what to tell people! Frankly, I am about at the end of my rope feeling as if I have to fight for everything, including respect, when all I want to do is make the site more enjoyable for people. It should not be like this. Hell, I have to fight to even give prizes for events that I take my free time to help organize and run! It's bullspit.
FYI: Trying to look up games in a tournament using "find a tournament" is not working at all...in game finder 1 or 2.
