June 2026 Monthly Challenge - Dice Cup Chaos

Dice Cup Chaos

At the FIFA World Cup 2026, Canada, the USA, and Mexico proudly hosted the greatest tournament in history—or so they thought. The opening ceremony looked normal until the referee rolled out the match balls: six-sided dice.

“Why dice?” asked the captain of Canada.

“Because,” said the organizer, “the sponsor wanted excitement.”

The first kick sent the “ball” bouncing straight into a hotdog stand. The second flew into the crowd, landed on a table, and rolled a perfect six. The stadium exploded in cheers.

Then the rigged dice began behaving suspiciously. Every time Mexico was about to score, the dice mysteriously landed on one. Every time the USA took a shot, they landed on six. Canada just kept asking for a replay.

By halftime, the scoreboard made no sense, the ball was accused of cheating, and one coach demanded a “dice VAR review.”

In the final minute, the winning goal came from a lucky bounce, a confused pigeon, and a dice that somehow landed on the roof.

The referee sighed, blew the whistle, and said, “Best World Cup ever. Completely random. Obviously not rigged.”

FAQs:

Who can play a Challenge?
Challenges are open to everyone!

How do I join?
No signups required. Join and/or create games that meet the given parameters for this month as found in the OP. Only public games count towards the challenge unless otherwise explicitly stated in the challenge OP. There is also a "join games" link in the OP to provide an easy list of qualifying games.

What are the prizes?
All players who meet or exceed the minimum number of required points for the month will earn a Challenge Achievement Medal. The point requirements change every month as we aim to provide a vast assortment of challenges which includes a varying level of difficulty.

And the 2nd-5th place finishers receive: 1 Blue Conquer Star
[img]http://www.conquerclub.com/static/items/star3_S.png[/img]

When do I get my prize?
In most cases prizes are awarded during the week following the completion of the event.

How do we deal with deadbeating?
Please report deadbeats in your games by sending a PM to groovysmurf and chanakam2020. We will evaluate the distribution of prizes to a violating player on a case by case basis.

Tiebreakers?
Ties are awarded to the player who reached the point threshold first, unless indicated otherwise.

A player has me foed and it is preventing me from joining a lot of challenge games. What can I do?
PM the player in question. Be courteous and non-accusatory, ask why you are foed. Do your best to resolve any issues with the other user in this manner. However, if they decided not to remove you from their foe list then you will need to join games without that player or start your own.

What if I want to run a parallel tournament to the challenge?
Okay, awesome! Individual tournaments can be added to the challenges so that those games drop tokens. Send us a PM and we will get it added for the month. Remember that games that do not complete by the allotted time, will not drop tokens!

Suggestions and Requests
Go here and post if you have any ideas or special requests for future events.

Rulings:
1. Deadbeats will have entry points stripped.
2. NO inviting opponents! (this includes rematch invites) More details can be viewed here.
3. Wins by round limit will drop tokens.
4. Inventory relating to the challenge will vanish at the end of the year.
5. Bot games do not drop tokens.
6. Any unforeseen abuse is still abuse. Don't take advantage of the system.

If you have any further questions or issues not covered here please either post in the active challenge thread or PM groovysmurf and Chanakam2020.

That's a real dick thing to say, xroads. The appeal of the challenges should be the prizes, and difficulty/challenge level should be tied to that. A green star costs the dept. leader 2500 credits of their budget. Blue stars cost 500, so each month we give away 4500 credits worth of stars and also achievements. The entire reason monthly challenges exist is because they are supposed to be a CHALLENGE! Something that takes you out of your comfort zone.

I understand that when people play so many games they tend to make it impossible to catch them, but that's why we do the percentage based challenges, too.

Also, you said the below in the May thread:

Feb & Oct had less than 30 players.

At that point is it even worth it?
October was on the 6th most popular map on the site and had more than 50 participants and February was a scenario challenge using 3 of the most popular scenario maps on site. There was zero risk and yet people still didn't join. It had nothing to do with the maps selected. The ones who took the time to put together the challenge should not be ridiculed publicly, as they are volunteering their time and energy to bring another option for players on the site!

So, if you don't have anything nice to say, how about say nothing at all.

Hey Chana..the games waiting search link for the bronze search accidentally has 2 poly checkmarked …so waiting games won’t pop up.
Also, search says 20 rounds. Is 20 round required?

Furthermore, the original motive for starting the Challenges was to get players to step outside their comfort zone instead of playing the same thing over and over again. If a Challenge makes you play maps and settings you normally wouldn't, the it's doing what it's supposed to do!
