yeah LC only informed a few people of what their names was, like I atleast did not get a name for King 1, and I do not think I got one for King 2 either, but I guess he did that on purpose, I do not know

Anyhow GG all, and it was a fun one, but really sad if its this game that cost us you sonic from games in the future and you on CC.
And nice job hosting LC, can't have been easy with people being AWOL and others dropping like flies, but you handled it well..

I want to vote on the MVP as Ragian, it could also have been hjelp or kong, but I will give me vote to Ragian.

It was brilliantly setup, and I grew very fond of the game when I saw the show. I'm sad, though, that the game was hampered by three no-shows.

However, I really appreciate what you did flavour wise, and I can see your point about Tony Gates. While he's doing sine unethical stuff, there's no doubt he's town aligned. I did think about using him as a fake claim early on, but then people emerged with no names, so I just didn't go with a name. Lucky me.

Well done, scum team. I think we did well to distance us from each other. Told you Kong and hjelp were dirty!

Its not the first time that Ragian has played a blinder as mafia.

This game he was ably assisted by the other OCG players. I thought Kong and Hjelp, and latterly King made Ragians play more effective.
- and I was privy to mafia chat too so I could see a team discussing and working things through.

There was a lot to admire about towns play too - irrespective of the result.
Annie - as a new player to me - in particular stood out impressively and cool headedly and made a great social contribution - and deserves a big shout out. Unfortunately the crime group was just too organised.
Sonic would be welcome back too, or missed if he doesn't fancy it.

And in contrast the players who joined the game but didn't play had a big impact on towns ability to get organised to pin down the mafia.

But yes I agree with the sentiment that Ragian would be a worthy MVP.

I think Ragian deserves MVP he did a great job of saying what I was thinking. Ragian is our true Kate Flemming deep undercover!

And thank you! It was fun my favorite part of this game is how I was so close to being right while being terribly wrong. Specifically, both the lynch and modkill being vanilla on the night we tested the no vanillas theory. And the wild role names vs character names red herring I created when I thought Charle revealed himself. I'm also happy it was Cod all along

I just love the mafia, even if I'm just a freaking 50% player, but I feel its better to have a player that is here half the time.
Like if checked out the # of post I had in this game, then I had about the same as most of the players that was here 100% of the time.

And mafia weren't provided with fake claims either.

Various possibilities around Steve Arnott getting a false result on an investigation didn't happen.
The letter of the law would have given a true "mafia" result on a mafia if used on them.
As would a last ditch Tony Gates following being on L-1 - I mean DJF was on L-1 but as he would have died by committing suicide/dieing run over by a car chasing a suspect and getting pension for his family - I ended game when mathematically mafia couldn't lose.

As it turned out Town had at one point 3 confirmed town

Strike tried to watch Ragian Night 1 but I told him he saw nothing - effect of Sonic also giving hard cover to Ragian Night 1 - Ragian;s investigation of Sonic Night 1 went through though

Sorry about the modkill and the role name mix-up (I never got the “Colin Brackley” alias in my PM, only the Firearms Lead power). No hard feelings at all, just one of those small things.
GG to the OCG — Ragian especially, you played an absolute blinder as usual. You lot deserved the win. Town had some bad luck and timing issues, but it was still a fun setup.
To everyone who said they’d miss me playing — that means a lot. But being called "annoying" more then once and why? For not gosthing???

So, shold we wrap up this game and get to the next one? How does one vote for MVP? Do we just vote like voting in the game?

I'm sort of torn when it comes to MVP. I can see several candidates. Given the result, I'd most likely vote for Kong. He kept a cool head throughout and got away with what I thought would be a fakeclaim difficult to defend given the setup. Moreover, I thought his posts came off very townish. I could say the same of hjelp, but I feel that kong has the edge given the simplicity of his claim as opposed to hjelp's. However, both - and I'll add King Cod to that pile even if he wasn't scum for as long - were brilliant scum partners in coordination and execution.

That said, there were good town efforts too. Some were cut short by our night kills, however, like Homer. I think Annie stood out as the most composed town player in this game, and to some extent she was let down by absent fellow townies and muddied waters (to which, of course, scum contributed). She also seemed to have fun with the flavour, and I'm gutted she wasn't around for the black metal mafia.

There must be a shoutout to Son!c, too. Even if he got a lot of stuff wrong (the "if Strike's not scum, I'll never play again" stands out ), but I honestly feared for my scum life when he caught me in a fit of hubris calling the murder of Homer ballsy That was the catalyst for our cannibalism. Luckily, we pulled it off.

Cheers for hosting, LC. I really liked the flavour of this game and how you set it up. Moreover, I've completely binged the six series of the show during the game. Colour me a fan!

Yes i got a lot of things wrong. Mainly because town's utter dead silence. I did had you as scum early, then pulled away to re-engage again after that ballsy move. But whatever. Staying silent all game long and only doing night actions is not, i repeat: is not my style so with you scum and Annieh on your side we never had a chance. Well played, Kong and Hjelp too - master scum class with town awol (how i see it - too many silent players - just the way Traf loves it ?- others may disagree) but still masterclass from the original crew. And kingm as sub was great i suppose. So big congrats is due :

I wasn't "on Ragian's side," and I'm not the one who tried to save him twice! By the end I was a supporter, sure.

I thought the dynamic with me and Sonic was really fun towards the beginning. The question of if he was using dirty Harry as a convenient excuse or not was good and only happened because of his effort towards the flavor. His role description sounded maybe a little too like jailkeeper but he was giving the good reports but then the reports got erratic but also he was cleared so it was exciting. I ended up having to make a bunch of comments in my notes app because I was coming up with too many theories. This game could have been dirt boring early days without sonic and he was a top contributor imo.

Another thing, I couldn't tell anyone how much I would have messed up the night if I had witness protection'ed the wrong person! I almost protected Charle the night he got shot only I was holding out hope for a second Hastings action. (I protected Dev II)

The missing players for sure made things harder. I liked the role heavy set up and think lc designed things great. Ragian's play stands out because he had risky distancing plays that worked out- I think he's the one who first pointed out how it looked like Kong was roleblocker on night 2. Town's play was a whole comedy of errors.

I only wish we had a more aggressive lynch Cod policy, and maybe that I wasn't half obsessed with how the corruption was spreading.

Count me in for the next one. I'm very curious how scum chat works

Thanks for hosting LC, thought it was a fun setup. Was obviously quite satisfied with my scum teammates, and there was some good town performances as well, think a good balance of engagement and investigation as well as crackpot theories and having fun with things goes a long way to making the games better.

I would definitely have Ragian as the mvp, he had a strong and consistent game and obviously things ended with good results for scum.
