NoLeafClover wrote: Fri Apr 03, 2026 2:45 am you could just have a box to check when making a game thats all entrants need to have a score above a certain number

check the box that says only players ranked 1600 or higher can enter this game or 1700 or 1800 there could be a few of those options... could also have a less than option for players wanting to play players in their experience zone
and if i remember well, it used to be forum thread for the organisation of game restricted to 2000 + players, 2500 +
so the feature would make it easy for everyone to play against players in their experience zone.
it still exists, just not used anymore

I'd be curious to know why it's not used anymore. Because it's seems to me a real feature / need behind it this forum.
It was essentially a work around ( a tedious one) to organize or join game of a specific level and keep things interesting.

It is available still to be used, just less people started using it.
But if you wanted to try and kickstart a few games, I am happy to help promote it.

Hi TG, sorry, i though the absence of response was enough of a response. My mistake. Sorry for the lack of courtesy.
I appreciate the offer to help promote and restart the forum, but i don't have the energy and time in me to contribute to the community.

Honestly i don't know what's best between:
1/ the effort to get a vibrant community vibe and dynamic through the forum, at the cost of of a process depending on the effort of a few volunteers that disappear when the volunteer is not longer available or suffer from quality degradation when the volunteer is not available or replaced.
2/ a function that allow anyone to create and join games of a given level without any hassle but also without flexibility, visibility and interaction.

My personal taste is for 2 because it removes frictions and create a process that survives any volunteer.

From a programer POV without its hands on and understanding of the CC engine, it seems relatively lightweight and strait forward condition programming relatively similar to "freemium cannot join poly games" and probably easier that "unscored game".
