So nobody has any names... more FoS on Charle (and a bit of FoS on you for trying to wiggle an opening that could serve as a defence on Charle - are you returning the favor perhaps?).

The only thing Charle can do now is to say his role name or sell it like "trickery" to pin Kingm..

Okay. The Charle name thing is interesting. I actually had to check back and aee if I had a name. I wouldnt have realized that slip if it hadnt been pointed out. As far as Im concerned, Annieh and Son!c are town until proven otherwise and it would have to be some pretty good proof.

For now, Vote Charle to put pressure on an explanation.

Annieh: Bussing refers to an action performed by a Busdriver or variation of the role. A busdriver is a PR in Mafia that selects two players each night (player A and player B) and causes them to switch places so that actions aimed at player A would hit Player B and actions aimed at Player B would hit Player A. There are variations that do similar things like a Mini-Driver/Self-Driver who can only swap themselves with another player, a Redirector who can target a player and make them visit a player of their choice, an Instigator who can visit a player to force them to visit the Instigator, etc.

Someone should correct me if I'm wrong, since it feels like people use it in different ways sometimes, but in context Charle is bringing up the possibility that the result released might not actually be accurate if a scum or town bus driver impacted things. Basically, there are roles that redirect investigations or actions directed at one player to another, so a scum bus driver might cause a town investigator to unknowingly see the (correctly) innocent result of another player when investigating a guilty scum player and so they appear innocent, or a scum bus driver could also frame a townsfolk by likewise replacing the investigative result on the innocent player with what the result would have been on a scum player. If there's suspicion of a bus driver, it adds uncertainty to a lot of night actions or investigative results

It's a good possibility to be aware of for town, and town is well-served by paranoia, but I don't think it makes any sense here, and it feels like Charle is needlessly casting suspicion on and questioning the only confirmed townsfolk at the moment. Since full role details were released, if it was actually someone else's result they could counterclaim as needed to expose son!c, and Loose also specifically confirms and says son!cs name multiple times which would make no sense to do if it was a bussed situation. Charle has played enough games and should know that, so it feels a lot like Charle playing scum-dumb rather than clueless townie to me.

It strengthen my suspicion regarding Charle as number 1 scum but I still wan't general cod to participate. I think it's one more player to vote to reach L-2 ?

Well, I received a name, I am Ted Hastings, therefore I honestly thought everybody would have received one. So if someone would have a false claim, my thinking was to get him to reveal character name. Anyway, I, Ted Hastings is town aligned, you can waste a lynch on me, no problem, but old Ted is town folks! Sonic, you have proofed in the past you put everybody up against me for some reason, and then I turned out town, this is one of those games again. I honestly think we should try and get the focus on trying to find scum, instead of running after dead fish on a beach. So, the fact that we know Sonic is town aligned is the only clue we received last night, or is he?

@Anny, there is a role called bus driver which is normally scum aligned. So, when a player bus himself with another player, normally town aligned, and the scum role is investigated, the role of the town player he bussed with would be revealed. Therefore I asked, if Sonic could be a scum bus driver and maybe bussed himself with another town aligned player, the person that chose to reveal Sonic's role would then get the actual role of the town player he bussed with. That was my question, not sure if that could happen, but it was a thought. I must say I didn't like Sonic's quote "so did the MOD bussed himself" or something like that. It was an honest question and if that could not happen, then fine.

Thanks for this Kong, so we can take it that Sonic is Town aligned and move forward. At least we now have one confirmed town then.

Well Charle saw the question but did not answer.. Probably thinking all morning on a way out of this mess and not seeing it

Because the way i see it: Charle is scum and he needed to post a name knowing town did not receive any...

Then he chose the most important name of the show (as the reason why he got a name but others did not)...

Forgetting he already claimed vanilla and that a vanilla character does not match at all with the name of Ted Hastings...

Also if Charle flips scum then why he stayed out of voting Kingm D1 is a very big clue on Kingm's allignment..a scum Charle would have voted a town Kingm.

The case on Charle (if Charle is scum) also gives more clues to who is town, (kong and annieh for sure) and who pretends to be "not seeing it"..(staying silent hoping the subject will go away)..

So if Charle flips scum then Kingm looks bad and if Kingm looks bad then so does Traf (because of the quick vote /unvote D1 by Kingm) and then Cod will probably be town..

I haven't had time to get in D2 properly yet. I apologise. Loads of things going on. Hopefully, next week looks better. I'd like to my eyes at Son!c for asking me to reread the end of D1 when that was exactly why I was questioning him. However, since then Son!c is proven town, so I'm not going to spend more time on him. KingM, however...

Now, I'm just popping in to see that Charle has a name, and that his name is Ted Hastings. I've found this show on one of my streaming services, but, alas, not having time for mafia means not having time to watch a new show, so I'm behind on that, too. Therefore, I can't say why Charle has this name, but a quick read here shows me that Ted Hastings was forced to retire. That sounds odd if you're an honest one. (And what is that thing about Son!c claiming that Charle has claimed VT?) Anyway, what I really wanted to say before my fingers headed in their own directions is that Charle claiming that a busdriver is usually scum aligned is BS. I've played a lot of games and never encountered it. I'm not saying that it's impossible, but it's completely overpowered as a scum role. Town would have no idea what was going on.

Anyway, go ahead, lynch me, not a loss to town at all apart from just looking a vanilla townie, instead of going after scum.

@Ragian, I was bus driver once, when i was scum with Sonic and we had so much fun with it!! That was the one where old (the guy that was expelled from CC) was so upset because he was found guilty after we bussed myself with him.

So what I’m being asked to believe is, after declaring town vanilla while totally unpressed, “Vanilla Ted Hastings” Charle set a trap for Kingm by asking for a full reveal including character name. Challenging him to do the impossible and come up with any deep cut character from a show with a six seasons and a Wikipedia page.

Nevertheless, Charle does get a very abnormal and unexpected result. Kingm, his fellow vanilla officer, says he was only told the role, not given a name at all. At which point Charle drops the matter completely.

Ok....maybe he didn't want to say to much, certainly he would have voted for Kingm after having caught him in his trap with this inexplicable inconsistency. He didn't, he voted for Sonic day 1.

Line of Duty mafia with Vanilla Ted Hastings is like Raiders of the Lost Ark mafia with Vanilla Indiana Jones. Absolutely not.

I can abandon the vote on general cod since I think that general cod is inactive among with Cofari and Riskmaster and I think Loose Canon will have to exclude them all three from the game entirely. I have already argued about Charle and therefore I change my vote.

Just a quick one, as i now have to switch off and I have to go, will only be able to answer tomorrow again. On L-2 I will definitely make a full claim and you all will understand, but please do not lynch me yet, even if you do not believe me, I don't mind if you lynch me at the end of the day, but let's try and get as much info out of D2 as we can, I dont believe the only info we got was that Sonic is town.

Sure Charle. Always the best town play to get as much info out of D2 as we can. Also on a sidenote; - if your town - you can sub back in for one of the zombies.. Since you claimed vanilla unpressured and confirmed it later again you are the best lynch all day because the evidence is there. And the evidence is solid. Even you say: "

So based on the nice summary reasons Annieh provided why you are the best lynch for town lunch (very unbelievable claim all in all and scummy play) i'd like to know what Kingm and Traf are gonna do now? Keep ghosting the subject or take a stance by voting you..?

I think that -if your scum- no fellow scum is on your wagon yet and ghosting the subject does raise some questions..because ghosting sure is the best thing any fellow scum can do for now..
