Most likely 3 or 4 scum i'd say, not 5 or even more
kongming3 wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 10:15 pm 7 feels incredibly unlikely. If it was 7 scum, we'd functionally lose immediately if we lynched town or didn't lynch anyone day 1. Not sure where those numbers are coming from.

hjelp wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 7:41 pm or 7 more likely ?
I'm asking because of the probability of the risk to cast a vote on a townie instead of a scum, if to vote on silent players.
Tank you for the answer of 3 - 5 scums. I ask because I'm thinkg of voting on a silent player. And I don't have the experience of playing many games so I had to ask.

So what's to do next?

A) Ragian has tunneled one player extremely hard (me) while completely ignoring five lurkers → that contradiction is alignment-indicative. Ragian has by far the clearest scum-tells: extreme D1 tunnel + ignoring lurkers while claiming he wants general discussion, matching scum meta in his Vincent Vega Vengeful win + early buddying up with Djfireside.

So Vote Ragian. Let's see the flip.. But Ragian is producing a lot of the content here. Ragian out is half the fun out.. And it is probably Town-on-Town. Don't wanna risk losing a Town Ragian on a D1 blinder. It's better to check Ragian out at night first.. But i still want him to answer my questions.

B) Riskmaster101 is a Pure lurk (0 posts) and was targeted by Kingm (That could have been a self-pressure fakeout)?

C) Strike wolf's scum read on Homer Jay (safe blending) is valid (low-volume veteran style with safe, middle-road posts) but untested..

D) There is subtle D1 buddying (e.g., early defends), shared evasion (e.g., ignoring lurkers together), or opportunistic wagons between the trio Ragian + Charle + Djfireside.. Especially Charle following his scum overlord Ragian while acting unconnected. That's safe scum play: Rag leads distraction while Charle rides wagons..

E) A silent Traf is a scummy Traf.

@ SoN!c

3 or 4 scum ok, I read wrong. I'm not scum (scum knows that already if it's a normal game) and I get the impression (maybe I'm stupid) of that you more likely are town than scum.
-----------
New line
Also, general cod did call so maybe town then. And I want player to participate. And voting is leverage.
I will pick one of two randomly.

Okay, we should get a new vote count in. "Unofficial" Current score is Ragian 2, Djfireside 2, Riskmaster 2, Charle "The guy who said “too early” then voted anyway" 1, SoN!c 1 + 1 (unofficial), Kingm 1, Trafalgar 1

I could be wrong with the count, it's memory based.

But especially for master lurker Riskmaster i have all the D1 news right here:

EXCLUSIVE NEWS: "Veteran Charle Caught in Classic D1 Scum Speedrun"
Step 1: “We need to start voting to get claims!” → votes Djfireside
Step 2: “It’s too early to point fingers” → stays on wagon anyway
Step 3: Ragian-SoN!c tunnel gets spicy → “Unvote, Vote SoN!c”
Analysts calling it “the fastest 180° since the last plot twist.”..
0 to wagon-jump in 4 posts.
180° flip in under 72 hours.
“Too early to point fingers” becomes “actually perfect time to point this finger right here.” LMAO

BREAKING NEWS: "Dirty Harry Impersonator SoN!c (just look at his avatar!) Soft-Claims Cop in an all Cop game!– Ragian Immediately Demands Full Tax Returns"
SoN!c: “I keep everybody safe at night except scum.”
Ragian: “That’s anti-town! Reveal or I’ll write 35 more paragraphs!”

RAGIAN DROPS 35-LINE MANIFESTO – READERS DEMAND HAZMAT SUITS
“Sealioning is not a tactic, it’s a lifestyle,” says one exhausted poster.
Another: “I had to scrol so far back I found my high-school MySpace page.”

New recruit annieh drops bombshell evidence: screenshot + direct quote. Kingm responds with classic “I never said ‘let’s all’… I said ‘let’s start’.” Town is still waiting for the grammar lawyer and the grammar kings prosecutor to arrive..

POLL OF THE HOUR: WHAT DID KINGM ACTUALLY MEAN?
A) “Let’s start with Riskmaster” = innocent suggestion
B) “Let’s start with Riskmaster” = Norwegian code for “say lynch him but don't do it ofcourse”
C) “Let’s start with Riskmaster” = typo, meant to say “let’s start a lynch club”
D) Kingm forgot he posted and is now gaslighting the entire thread

The important thing is even if Kingm made a transparently false statement and failed to recount his own recent actions with accuracy, we all agree he didn’t mean it like that. Even though they told us a MILLION times in orientation that is a HUGE no-no and grounds for termination.
Regardless if he meant ABC or D, we are seeing dereliction of duty from him and the absentees.

For the love of god Sonic and Ragian…No matter how many times we tell Sonic he’ll never make AC-12 if he keeps on his vigilante shit, and how many complaints Ragian submits to HR, Sonic just loves that movie too much. We tell him it’s inappropriate to keep a picture of Dirty Harry at his desk, we tell him it is not at all reflective of the standard we aspire to uphold as British Police, that “dirty” is literally what we are in most opposition to. Nothing works, it’s only because of his thorough reporting and filing skills he still has a job.

Welcome General Cod! I trust your military background will serve us well. From what I’ve seen between the redactions in your file, it looks like a very impressive career and I hope you’ll feel welcome here.

As far as Day 1 contributions being too middle of the road, it feels very “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” and what I’m looking at looks like good foundational police work. As far as Charle, he’s still in my good graces after an early helpful tip from the police manual about what to do if you are in a power role and start feeling the heat. Helpful is helpful, and I’ll be looking for a better reason before I’m ready to sign off on an official investigation into him.

My vote stays on kingm.

First, a recap: I call out Kingm for what looks like attempted bandwagoning in this post
Kingm wrote: Thu Feb 26, 2026 7:24 am Vote Riskmaster101

Very sus not confirming, would like to vote then other none confermers also, but lets start with riskmaster
And he says he never said that. You can see what I said about kingm and his response here:
Kingm wrote: Fri Feb 27, 2026 10:19 am
annieh wrote: Fri Feb 27, 2026 9:30 am Good morning!

My current suspicions:
--sonic less sus- he's got strong feelings about suspects, strong feelings about me. I can accept that the dude just feels strongly.

--Ragian more sus because I don't think son!c giving one example of a power role after being asked is at all the same as admitting to anything. Now we got ragian saying "newbie caught you out" when that's not what happened. I consider that a potentially misleading mischaracterization. Hjelp said a similar thing in what felt more just provocative than like attempting to establish a narrative.

--Kingm more sus because I don't like that one time he said "let's all vote for riskmaster." "Let's all" should come after even a little consensus building efforts. And that other time when he said "lol super sus" to sonic not immediately throwing out an accusation when I came at him. Could not saying "nuh uh, you are sus!!" be a mafia ploy to charm a chatty player? Maybe, but there's only so many moves there and I think sonic chose one of the less sus options

--And of course our silent players. Forever sus.
I never said lets all vote for Riskmaster.
And Riskmaster is one of the players that has been silent, and has not confirmed role yet.
“I never said lets all vote for Riskmaster” is not something you can say after you have said, “would like to vote then other none confermers also, but lets start with riskmaster”

I wanted to wait for Kingm to come back and say there’s some context, some reasonable explanation and maybe he will. Maybe he even has some game expertise that makes him worth keeping around. I’m on team vote someone Day 1, no one has given me a better reason to vote for them than he has, and idk when this day ends, so…

VOTE Kingm
Ok, let me start with sorry for being AWOL for like 10 days, I have just woken up from hibernation again.
Like a lot of you regs here on the mafia forum know, I have spells where I have low to 0 energy, and only thing I do on CC is play my turns, and then I sleep for like 16h a day.
Bad excuse, but its the truth.

Now to my vote on Riskmaster and my wording of it, I just started with one of the once that had not said anything.
And I just read through the last 5 pages and there is still no sight of him, but he is not alone, and I also have been none active lately, so ok, UNVOTE

SoN!c wrote: Fri Mar 06, 2026 7:14 am 4) Kingm: Ringlead Denial (Gaslighting Town): Kingm: "lets start with riskmaster" (implies group), later it's "never said lets all". Annieh calls it out, and a weak defense follows. Classic lead-then-hide?... but in Kingm's defense he is low on energy these days so that could be just it.
I will comment more on this great post by SoN!c later, but you are spot on here with your assumption that I was low on energy, and I never thought of my comment earlier as a defense, like I just think that people that post nothing could just be killed off, but now I'm just shooting my in the foot, and I guess mod will mod-kill them after a while if its continues, so better to put some pressure on the active dudes, but from my first quick read through I feel like there are no bells ringing at all, everyone is acting normal, so its the none active ones I'm wondering the most of, but then again no way all the scums are the lurkers.

I have received an anonymous tip on my desk:

It reads:

"The dark gang grows..

1. Ragian
2. Charle
3. A silent scum who shall be unnamed!
Real possibility that Ragian, the dark silent One and Charle are just cooking somethis up right now in their 24/7 scum-chat 5 minutes before posting...

But to give the Devil his due...
Am I to gather that their three lynch possibilities allowed in this unholy hastily made bandwagonpact (and not fully explained) are just picked by black metal and dark colombian ganja?

Why those three? Yes, accusations of non-MO play have been made.. . and someone hardly participates (which actually is his dark MO...).
...and the even more central question: How/Who of that unholy black metal scum gang pact is going to decide when their bandwagon actually needs to lay down votes???

Also, a Factual Correction must be made. (Yes, an actual Fact! in this game, beleive it or not...)
a strike wolf quote from long ago wrote:I think each of at least the last 5 games has resulted in No Lynch and that has definitely become the overwhelming trend recently in CC Mafia.
In the Werewolf Game of long times ago, there was a calculated (i.e. non-random) Day 1 lynch that led to the elimination of the Accursed Wolf Father and set town on the path to victory...
That is until Trafstard the Unholy One, decided to re-shuffle the deck because he didn't think having Town win was any fun (mods never do...). Trafstard probably got a medal for doing that.... such wretched BS."

BREAKING: ANONYMOUS TIPSTER "VOTANIC" STRIKES AGAIN – EXCLUSIVE SCOOP ON THE DARK GANG'S NEXT MOVE!

Just in from my ultra-secret desk drawer (the one right under the Dirty Harry poster):
Votanic writes back:
"Update from the shadows... Ragian just dropped the classic 'IRL dogging me, catch up tonight' card. Translation: Scum chat blowing up right now because town is sniffing too close. Charle probably typing 'should we unvote Sonic and pivot to the new guy?' while the fourth silent partner refreshes the page like it's the stock market crash of '29.
Why those three + ? in the unholy trinity and The Evil Overlord Gang again? Because:

Ragian: Tunnel masterclass on me while lurkers breathe free air. Meta match: His Vincent Vega game was all 'tunnel hard, ignore silence'.
Charle: Early vote speedrun champ – 'too early!' → votes anyway → jumps ship faster than rats on a sinking mafia yacht.
Silent scum (Trafstard "The yellow mustard") AKA the Silent One has literally zero meaningfull posts. Zero. Nada. Zilch. In a game called Line of Duty, that's dereliction of duty x1000. Pure Lurk Riskmaster (0 posts) at least got more thread mention and more votes in...
And one more evil who is currently unknown

Question for the town class: If Ragian is town (big if), why is his entire playbook still 'Sonic bad, ask 47 questions, ignore the ghosts in the room'?
Also paging General Cod – welcome back soldier, but those lurkers need a court-martial.

Oh, I hadn't missed much at all.

@Son!c, for me to discuss anything with you in that regard, I'd have to concede that I'm "tunnelling", which I do not believe I am. I've kept my eyes on everyone else. Especially Charle. I even asked you about his play, but you were still sulking (which strongly indicates that you're taking this personally - not even considering you saying that my scrutiny is an attack on your character). I always play D1 aggressively, and I think you'd see me being similarly aggressive in games you've played with me earlier, but given that you're on the receiving end, you're probably finding me more aggressive than usual. Usually, however, players don't react so scummily to my probing D1 as you've done. What you're calling a "weird case", I'd be inclined to see as some of the best stuff happening on D1 in my many mafia games except for when a scumster has blown up completely *pours whiskey on ground for halrob*

And don't start asking me questions in the tone of, "He's not answering," when you haven't even begun to answer the many questions I've posed you. Come back to me when you have. Whether you're scum or not, I don't know. That's the bollocks of being a townie. You have, however, by far acted the most scummy, so you're my best bet right now.

---
Right now, no one is going with me on Son!c, and that's just the nature of the game, so obviously, I'll unvote (even when Son!c in his latest posts has said that our back and forth is probably town on town AND that I'm scum - I mean...sheesh) because it's more important to get a claim than anything D1. I was looking at the latest vote count, but I'm not sure if it's accurate or if people voting forget to unvote or something.

I'll vote during my next break.

@Ragian
Unvote noted and appreciated.

If we’re both town thinking the other is the scum ringleader (which I believe to be a big possibility yes), then we just burned a lot of oxygen on a very loud T-T slapfight while the real bent coppers are sipping coffee in the break room laughing at us. But if you're scum (because of real allignment indicative reasons)... well, we'll see whose nose is bleeding later..

So for now let’s do what actual detectives do: look at who hasn’t even shown up for roll call.

In a game literally called Line of Duty that’s basically turning in your badge and walking out the door.

@Charle: You want D1 claims? Great. Why don't you start with a guy who hasn't even claimed to be alive..?

@Ragian: a good test to your "aggressive D1 but eyes everywhere" claim..—will you join a lurker push or find more excuses to stay in your tunnel?

That said; Traf is the king of the silent-scum special: disappear completely D1, let town waste time on active players, then slide in late with "caught up, reads are X" (safe middle road, meaningless reads anyway) like he was here the whole time.. And ends his D1 late show with a "no lynch" vote...

Right after that silent scummy Traffy NK's the strongest townplayer asap..

So @Trafalgar: Show your face, Trafstard. One good analysis post is all we want. Confirm you're not just a username collecting dust. Play the game!
Or keep hiding for now, show up late, and prove my point.

Either way, town should get a good D1 contribution or a flip on you.. That's called police work.

Vote Trafalgar

@Loose Canon — next vote count, please put Traf’s name in even bigger 72-point Comic Sans. Make it hurt eyes so he can't say he didn't see it when he shows up late saying his classic D1 line "sorry i was very busy IRL"..

Your move, Traf.
Don’t make me chase you through the precinct parking lot. I hate cardio.

You are currently wanted for crimes against content generation and suspicion of being the bent copper who bent so far he disappeared up his own exhaust pipe!

To be honest, I think there's only a few that I won't vote for, but I'm a bit iffy about the latest VC. I will vote, however, because our deadline is looming, and all we've learned so far is untangible. I mean, it's good for the long run, but it doesn't move us forward when no one else is going for it.

I don't like Charle's behaviour around our cafuffle, and I don't like that kingm and hjelp have voted for someone who's not here (i.e. lynching blind giving no solid info to town). I could also be persuaded to vote for Traf or Strike given how they've been here but not been here. Strike, however, said that he was very busy and I believe that. I think I'm going with kingm for now. He has voted for a blind lynch, and he already has a vote to his name (which is lucky for hjelp).

I'll vote during my next break.
@Ragian

Ok, lets get him to post something D1, Vote Trafalgar
