Please vote Yes or No to the whole five point package as a single item.
It's a blanket solution for compensation to make things right after what shall come to be known as “The Great Rewind of 2026”
The following suggestion only applies to all casual games affected by the event.
First off - continue to play the game, finish the game and points will change hands as per usual.
Post game - work needs to be done manually by administrators to achieve the following:
1) The statistics should not be counted. Games played, games lost, games won, win rate etc will not be counted – statistics generated for each affected game should be uncounted (rewound) and will not show up in each players stats in the future.
2) Points lost should be refunded (created out of thin air).
Those 2 measures will neutralize the ill effects on points and statistics. But do not fix the problem of time consumed playing the tainted game. So an additional third and fourth measure should be taken to address this:
3) Points lost should be refunded a second time – so even if you lost – you still made a small amount of points.
4) The winner should also be credited with 2x the number of points that would have been lost had the winner lost on top of the winners winnings.
Lastly the fifth measure
5) Members should be made aware that the above measures have been implemented - by email and as a banner above the central command interface (above all interfaces would be better still).
***It is imperative to email those members that cancelled their subscription due to “The Great Rewind of 2026” maybe the gesture of a compensation package might lure some of them back!
***this solution only applies to casual games – the author knows nothing about tournaments.
***although Conquer Club is a labor of love project, the fact that members pay money for a subscription means we need to look at this through the lens of a small business situation – so ask yourself.... What would you do as a small business owner? What would the trolls do? What would Plato do?
***this solution would not cost any money to implement.
***counter suggestions are very welcome

As a silver free mium I was cusping about to purchase premium because I want to have more than just 4 games going.
In one way I'm glad about the hack. That's because I get to see how the website responds to its current premiums with regards to the rewind.
My decision on whether or not to buy premium, will be decided by the actions of the owners. I'm definitely staying - but sadly it is more likely going to be as a silver I fear.

Sorry if the above question is too messy.

Just personally gifted you 3 months premium. Didn't want you to have to make the difficult decision. Hopefully all issues are fixed in the next 90 days and the decision will be easier for you.
What does my phone provider do when the service drops?
What does my internet provider do when the internet goes down?
What does my bank do when it goes offline?
What does my electricity company do after a blackout?
They all do the same, and I am guessing the owner of this site will do exactly what all of those companies above do.
catstevens: you are now an honorary American TG...Congrats
Wow so, I can hardly believe that this is the actual timeline in which someone gifted me premium. It's kind of surreal.
I was stunned for a moment during my most recent turn - as I glanced at my symbol and noticed it had turned gold.
Gotta say, I will never forget this occurrence shoop76. It's very awesome - Thank You - I'm certainly about to start a bunch of games and make full use of this gift.
Incredible stuff.
Thanks also to TeeGee for your hearty response. TeeGee tbh I was cringing pretty hard at what response I might get to this post. Turns out its a real mixed bag so far. I will surely reply to your reply respectfully in my next post.
(sorry guys, still haven't mastered the quote functions yet - didn't want to botch this one - but it seems when quoting is used the recipient gets an alert - will have to figure it out at some point)
f*ck CC, they absolutely do not care at all anymore.
I went from winning 2 out of 3 in round 4 of a tournament, to losing 2-3 in a tournament as my opponent was able to readjust their strategy remembering where my troops had dropped.
So many people got fucked, and not one f*ck is given by BigWham.
He continues to deliver a horrible product to his paying customers.

Why there will be no point adjustments.
The CC scoreboard is sacred, it has been running now for over 20 years.. Any free points will corrupt the scoreboard.
That is perhaps one of the wider issues - the scoreboard appears to be the be-all and end-all of some people's existence. Perhaps some people take it too seriously. It's a board game for children with a large chunk of luck involved, not a statement of your worth as a human being. Unless there's a check that all the points sum to number of players *1000 - which I wouldn't see being accurate anyway due to rounding - I don't see why a few extra points would be a problem. Under this solution, everybody gets more points than they would have had and improves their rank - wouldn't that make everyone happier? Who loses?

As aggravating as that was, TeeGee is right. Once upon a time my ISP issued a per Diem credit for down time after multiple days, but that is not common. The simplest way to compensate users (if they chose to) would be to gift 1 week premium or 600 credits to all active users.
Maybe if folks had a few extra credits my poker games would fill faster.
I agree with refunding points lost to the downtime and giving some compensation (certainly to paying customers), while it would cause a bit of overall rating inflation it should be minor and almost certainly less annoying to those losing a bit of relative ratings than to those losing a chunk of ratings due to lost games via the downtime. If the ratings inflation was 1+ point and deemed problematic demoting everyone by the average amount of inflation might be a decent “fix” keeping everything similar to where it would have otherwise been.
Similarly I would also like to see the “attendance” data adjusted to remove “missed turns” during the downtime and shortly after (maybe 12 hrs or so) when people might not realistically have been able to take their turns due to work or sleep schedules, etc.
I think the site relaying to users more directly what happened (a DM to all users would work) more directly than the announcements tab would also be good, while it may seem insignificant to the site to relay this info its a general good to keep people “in the loop” so as to give them a bigger picture re. the site and to make it seem like the site cares about them more that it would seem otherwise.
Sorry but it's most definitely not going to happen.
It's just a risk you take, well, when playing risk.
The admin team owes you nothing, and getting anything wished for is like trying to get blood from a turnip.
And aye, Vegetasphone, I like you dude. You are pretty freakin cool.
But this zen330 person isn't support, that's an unknowing child who gets hurt when someone tells them the truth and they don't get their way.
Vegeta, bro, I'm in the hospital right now with my lady in labor, but I'll gift you premie when I get out and can load some cash to my account. I got you.
Just don't expect progress on any of your demands here. They aren't even going to send out a bit typed out email or message for everyone apologizing.
But, join the discord server because they did communicate everything there during the downtime. It might help you in the future.
