If all the regulars have a positive attitude we can only go forward. Even 1 game a day, 1 turn a day in the morning together with a good coffee (and killer breakfast) then positive attitude is all we need

Its the biggest repeat tourni on CC and will be missed by a lot of users.
It won't suffer a drop as long as he doesn't sabotage the tournament and decides to let people who are mentally and emotionally equipped, to keep running it (his three helpers, for example)
3,333 … presumably that has some significance that can be read into it by some religion or lost civilisation …. Here at CC we can too … it’s the lowest recorded figure.

One of them has already quit and taken his excellent skills with him.

A real shame a compromise could not be reached.
You are so right. But that's the problem with Craig. He does not compromise. It's his way or the highway. And he does not mind holding everybody hostage or breaking his promises. Flips everything to his way accordingly, the truth included, without blinking an eye. He is the adult version of "im leaving and i take my ball with me". In the end it''s Craigs fault alone. Everybody is here to help him but his demands have to be in this world. Not flying over some Martian bunkers.

I really feel like i have missed out on some classic CC Drama!!!! Martian Bunkers?!!! Hostages?!!! Taking his ball and leaving?!!! This has shed an entirely new light on this drama! The black jesus is enlightened!-Jesus noir
P.s.-Remember when CC sent an envoy to broker peace with CRAIG?

what i'd like to know is how many are premium? we pay for this site so are our numbers increasing, decreasing or stagnating?
I think the number of premium users has been reasonably stable for sometime. The number of free users has decreased as can be seen by looking at the members list and guide games, far fewer new members and guide games have dropped significantly

Running scoreboard only counts players if they completed 20 games in a month. It therefore doesn't count most new players (who are more likely to start as freemium to check the game out), nor does it count active players who intentionally keep their game count limited (I've never appeared on the running scoreboard, despite definitely being an active player in the last year). But if you lose ~1500 players (the difference between January 2022 and now on the normal scoreboard) who each play a few games a month, that's still a lot less games getting filled, and a lot less opponents for the very active players on the running scoreboard.
But even ignoring that, it should worry you when you compare the same month this year with last year. We lost anywhere between 3.4% (comparing June) and 8.5% (comparing October) of the most active part of the player base in a year time. A year ago, the number of players on the running scoreboard was around 1100. It will drop below 1000 somewhere next year, and if trends continue, it's unlikely that we see any month above 1000 in 2025.
June 2025 gave 947 results on the running scoreboard, where you need to have premium to be able to get on it. I fear the number of premium users may not be as stable as you seem to believe.

In 2014 the user count was 10,000 and the high active was 2,000
In 2018 the user count was 5,000+ and the high active was 1,200
We’ve remained 1200-1000 since generally speaking with a mini spike up in the 2020 pandemic cycle
It is trending downward, but it’s very very slow.
