The Democratic Party may no longer exist as a viable political entity by this time tomorrow. Maybe they'll splinter into two smaller parties and then fight over the scraps for the next decade or so.

I'm watching NBC coverage of the preparations for the Trump Victory Speech and 90% of everyone there - men and women - are at least a solid 8. There are no ugos. No blue hairs. No she-men. No tatted-up lesbos with 100 face piercings.

For the Democrats to ever compete with Trump-Republicans they will need to become real, natural, authentic human beings.
Alas, most of them can't even conceive of doing so... They're just a bunch of mindless, careerist talkng heads on their own self-validating feedback loops.
I mean just look at pathetic Kamalalala, the ultimate propped-up dummy D.E.I. hire. She thought all she had to do was check the right boxes, sleep with the right honchos (Willie Brown) on the way up, ...and then just lie, & preen in her privilege-bubble the rest of the time. It was good enough for equally fake, demented, and soul-corrupt Biden, ...but not for most people. So sad.

Of course, even if they do bring in the wacky authentics from their goofy-loopy woke fringe, they'll still have to splinter because there is no way to that all those deranged and over-entitled individualist-freak-fascists will ever find a common reality they can agree on...

Today's results are not a surprise to any rational being...

We all already knew all about Kamalalala's leadership ability OVER FOUR YEARS AGO, when her very own, real, independent, Presidential campaign bid, ended like the poorly planned trainwreck it always was. https://www.politico.com/news/2019/12/03/spectacular-collapse-kamala-harris-2020-074982

But why did it the woketarded Dems never figure this out, ...probably not even now!
...because the man they backed was a literally demented, political-machine croney who couldn't even raise a decent son, nevermind lead a nation.

And what did this empty, damaged man do but pick a running mate for no reason other than the usual racist, sexist, Dem-mindset, DEI-hire reasons. ..and of course the obvious result: FAILURE, ensued.
And then all the bot-like zombie Dem faithful (see Pee-Rat), not to mention malicious oversea agitators with no legitimate dog in the fight (see puke6) fell into line and spouted the lies until they could no longer even tell lie from truth.... So sad.

Btw, whatever happened to those sadsacks: lologal and Gary the elf, She's doubtlessly choking in her spastic, depraved-idiot rage, ...and he is surely curled up in a fetal position sobbing uncontrollably.

A man so incompetent, overrated, (and frankly butt-ugly) that puke6 had to make him his avatar.
That is until he found that fabulous pair of orange-stained hooker heels that he just had to have.

I did not expect such widespread support (and votes, of course) for Trump. We are on the verge of a Trump victory and I am surprised by the margin in so many states. Even my state of VA was CLOSE; Trump came to VA late last week (Saturday?) for a Rally (in Salem, in the Western part of our state) for one more push in our state.

One of my favorite ways to gauze the election is watching Political signs (and for some, Flags) in the yards where I live. There was a 60/70 to 40/30 estimated bias toward Trump, but I attributed that to those really pro-Trump (even MAGA) folks, so I did not rely ENTIRELY on that. I did not make silly predictions like the Troll pee-mac.

And where is pee-rat? And we have not heard from GaryD in months. Where did they go?

I think many folks realize who Kamala is: an incompetent DEI and Affirmative Action Hire*. I hope this is the start of the death of DEI.

* who never won a Primary vote and thus did not endure the Crucible of an actual primary election to prepare her to run an effective campaign for President of the US (or POTUS).

This is an amazing victory for President Trump. What a political comeback. I pray that he leads the USA and US wisely and with good judgement.

Final Iowa numbers

Trump won by 14 points meaning Selzer was 17 points off. This may be the most inaccurate poll in the history of polling.

You are basically wrong saxi; I have only 3 on my FOE list, pee-mac and two idiots who are (likely) no longer on CC. The FOE of Votanic was temporary, so I did not have to read his inane posts that were clearly incorrect and full of vile and venom towards me. I took my head out of the sand; I can see clearly now. btw: Everyone can be a jerk at times, myself included.

As far as the p-p twins, that MAY be a glimmer of hope.

Anyway, Trump won and I will CROW about that. As I said, I hope this means the END of DEI and the END of transgender CRAP. The Democrats were SOUNDLY defeated on Nov. 5 due much to their support of those two issues. The only real issue for them was abortion. And Dems are no longer viewed as a friend to the common working man and woman. Trump, the Billionaire, is the Champion of the down-trodden working man who struggles due in large part to the inflation (mostly) caused by the Biden-Harris Administration. Loss of manufacturing jobs is another issue that affects many of them.

btw: The immigration issue did not seem as important, but with so many close elections results in so many states, everything counts. I even heard that the recent Joe Rogan podcast and endorsement of Trump helped among young college-age males.

BREAKING!

Jack Smith - an incompetent prosecutor who has failed every major case he's ever prosecuted - has filed motions with the various courts to discharge all of his cases against Trump. (Unconfirmed is if he's urgently getting his passport renewed and seeing if Venezuela will grant him asylum.)

The embers of the old regime are being extinguished. It was a brief, four-year interruption in our Thousand Year Government.

A good analysis of why President Trump won and Kamala, the DEI Hire, lost:

https://www.brookings.edu/articles/why-donald-trump-won-and-kamala-harris-lost-an-early-analysis-of-the-results/

Why Donald Trump won and Kamala Harris lost: An early analysis of the results

If the exit polls turn out to be accurate, Trump made strides among Latinos and African Americans, especially men.

The public’s judgment of Biden’s performance on two core issues—inflation and immigration—was harshly negative, and Harris inherited this disapproval.

Women’s share of the total vote rose only marginally from its level in 2020, and Harris’ share of the women who voted did not increase from Biden’s 2020 levels.
(...)

Donald Trump’s theory of the case was broadly correct. He and his campaign managers believed that it was possible to build on Republicans’ growing strength among white working-class voters to create a multi-ethnic working-class coalition. He was right: If the exit polls turn out to be accurate, he made strides among Latinos and African Americans, especially men. He increased his share of the Black male vote from 12% to 20% and carried Hispanic men by nine points, 54% to 45%.

The Trump campaign also believed that they could improve their performance among young adults, and they did—from 35% in 2020 to 42% this year. (...)

Second: The Trump campaign decided that Harris’ stance on transgender issues was the Willie Horton of 2024 and invested heavily in negative advertising that dominated the airwaves throughout the South.1 Anecdotal evidence suggests that this campaign helped weaken Harris’ effort to portray herself as a common-sense center-left candidate rather than an emissary from San Francisco.

(...)
Harris’ theory of the case was flawed. Looking at examples from the 2022 elections, she assumed that putting reproductive rights at the center of her agenda would mobilize an army of angry women and move them to the polls in record numbers. This did not happen. Women’s share of the total vote rose only marginally from its level in 2020, and Harris’ share of the women who voted did not increase from Biden’s 2020 levels.

(...)
Harris’ tactical choices made her problems worse. First, she spurned opportunities to create a clearer political profile. Although Biden’s unpopularity burdened her campaign, she refused to separate herself from him in any way that broke through to persuadable voters. Similarly, by refusing to explain why she had abandoned the progressive positions on crime, immigration, health care, and climate change, she blurred the public’s perception of her and opened the door to the Trump campaign’s charge that she was a closet radical. Thinking back to the successful campaign of Bill Clinton in 1992, some Democrats were hoping Harris would have a “Sister Souljah” moment in which she broke with some party orthodoxy in order to show her independence, but this did not happen.

Second, Harris’ decision to avoid media interviews during the first half of her campaign created the impression that she was dependent on scripted remarks and afraid to think on her feet. Answering tough questions can enhance a candidate’s reputation for competence and character, a potential upside to which Harris and her campaign seemed oblivious for much too long.

Conclusion

Democrats knew that the election would be close, but the scope of their defeat will likely trigger recriminations first and then an extended period of soul-searching. As was the case after Michael Dukakis’ defeat in 1988, the party will be forced to engage in a debate about the causes of its defeat, and what is sure to be a long and lively primary campaign will determine the path forward.

Meanwhile, President Trump will be challenged to honor the sweeping promises he made during his campaign. It remains to be seen whether he can impose massive tariffs without raising costs for average families and triggering another round of inflation. Also uncertain is whether he can quell conflict in Ukraine and the Middle East as quickly as he claims while reducing America’s global commitments. And it is possible that trying to deport millions of immigrants present in the U.S. could blow up in his face by creating civil strife and a backlash among Latino voters who have rallied to this cause. If he fails to meet the hopes that he has aroused, especially in the new supporters who provided his majority, he and his party may pay a price in 2026 and beyond.

Postby jusplay4fun on Wed Nov 06, 2024 5:31 pm

Here are some of those being blamed for this OVERWHELMING Liberal Democrat Loss:

Harris and the Democratic Party
The vice president has never had a showing as a strong national candidate. She lost her primary race in 2020, and took the reigns from Biden without a primary or any other input from actual voters. Harris was appointed the 2024 Democratic Party presidential candidate; she was not elected to that role.

Harris's campaign hung its hopes on voters from marginalized backgrounds and women — including Republican women concerned about their abortion rights — to come through for her on election night. But that does not appear to have panned out, with Black men and Hispanic voters moving toward Trump.

She also tried to appeal to moderates and suburbanites, running on platforms of criminal crackdowns and bolstering the military — typically Republican stomping grounds — to little effect. The campaign highlighted former Congresswoman Liz Cheney after she and her war-profiteering father decided to back Harris. The move likely did little to sway moderates and a lot to disgust progressives.

(...)
Some pundits have blamed the voters who Democrats assumed they had on lock for failing to show up for Harris.

MSNBC's Joy Reid blamed white women, chastising them for not making "their numbers" while discussing Harris's loss in North Carolina.

"In the end, they didn't make their numbers. We have to be blunt about why, black voters came through for Harris, white women voters did not," Reid said.

It isn’t quite that simple. While white women may have voted in fewer numbers than the party had hoped, many Black voters — particularly Black men — abandoned the party for Trump.

According to exit polls, Trump only won eight percent of Black voters in 2020, but that share increased to 13 percent in 2024. He also gained with Hispanic voters, where his support rose from 32 percent in 2020 to 45 per cent in 2024.

There is PLENTY of persons and decisions and positions to blame. This article gives MANY more than what I posted here. READ if you DARE. :o :geek: 8-)

It's hard to live in a world where honest men struggle all day to eke out a living, while kleptomaniacs ride a festive train to the capitol. So much easier to just let it be and go to sleep forever.

I'll admit that the teepees were getting annoying with their constant bragging when it was obvious to any objective observer that the campaign was not going well.

Yah it's all just Game of Thrones nonsense. A very small number of people fighting over who gets to wear the crown, while nothing really changes for any ordinary people.

Trump's kinda funny too so it'll be a good few years!

This is why I consider the Democratic Party to be such a monstrous organization.

They spent the last six months ginning-up their supporters on the idea that Trump was an existential threat to life itself and "literally Hitler." Despite the fact he was already president for four years and was mostly just bombastic with precious few policy achievements. And it's almost certain he'll lose control of the House in two years and have to coast across the finish line.

But the Democrats ginned-up their supporters on these utterly insane ideas (just like they did in 2016 when they said Trump would start a nuclear war leading to human extinction by 2020) and did so knowing that a large portion of their base is already mentally unstable and would buy into them (since they proactively recruit supporters - for instance - suffering gender dysphoria, etc.).

It would not surprise me if there is an increase in suicides in the U.S. this week due to the unwarranted hysteria they made it their goal to whip up. Will Dick and Liz Cheney, or Hillary Clinton, care? They killed a million Iraqis, why would they care if a few hundred Americans blow their brains out? This is all just political calculus for the most vile people in the world.

Seriously, if even Duk considered suicide (and why?) because he won't get to see Kamalalala toss word salad for the next four years?!?!?
Then just think what kind of Kool-aid the really fragile wokeflakes are taking right now. Democrats = Jonestown 2.0

Yup.

If they actually believed Trump were "literally Hitler," Biden wouldn't be having him over for tea at the White House tomorrow. Kamala would not have announced she will be helping the "peaceful transfer of power." You don't "peacefully transfer power" to Adolf Hitler. This is all calculated hysteria to gin-up their supporters, whom they are well aware have a higher-than-average propensity to mental illness and a tendency to engage in catastrophic thinking.

Ana Kasparian on The Young Turks is indicating even SHE voted Trump. And Cenk only saying he didn't vote Kamala.

We really have no idea how toxic the Democrats have become.

More whining by the Liberals:

Fuming Joe Scarborough blames racism, misogyny from black and Hispanic voters for Harris’ loss

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough knew exactly whom to blame Wednesday morning for Vice President Kamala Harris’ election loss to Donald Trump: racism and misogyny — especially among voters of color.

The “Morning Joe” co-anchor and his wife and co-host, Mika Brzezinski, sat down with the Rev. Al Sharpton for an impassioned post-polling vent session.

“Democrats need to be mature, and they need to be honest. And they need to say, ‘Yes, there is misogyny, but it’s not just misogyny from white men,’” Scarborough opined in the clip shared by the Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra.

“It’s misogyny from Hispanic men, it’s misogyny from black men — things we’ve all been talking about — who do not want a woman leading them,” the former GOP congressmen from Florida insisted.

Scarborough, 61, also claimed that there “might be race issues with Hispanics that don’t want a black woman as president of the United States.”

Keep crying, Joe.

And this shows the fallacy of liberal thinking: they look for and FIND racists and misogynists EVERYWHERE. Most things are the FAULT of racists and misogynists. It cannot be that
1) their POLICIES are wrong and not liked or unpopular;
2) that their candidate is not good enough, even though that person may check enough DEI "boxes";
3) they have a candidate that is not well-liked, as was Hillary;
4) that their thinking and analysis is simply WRONG.

It's is the fault of the VOTERS, NOT THEMSELVES. RIGHT?????? Right pee-rat? Right pee-mac? Right GaryD?

Sam Brown is still in a position to win the Nevada Senate race.

This would be more satisfying than Trump's win. An Army Ranger who was severely disfigured fighting in Liz and Dick Cheney's wars wins election to the Senate by beating the Rat candidate Liz and Dick Cheney endorsed.
