There are many more important people who die every day... Doctors, astronauts, military men and women...

This is just another loser drug-addict who couldn't kick the meth habit, and his family paid for it.

you are so naive, you think that just because he is wrestler, he is a hero or something? Just because he "entertained millions" doesnt mean that he should be pardoned for a crime like that. He probably was an addict or had mental issues, you never know, he could have done something during wrestling. You cant get bulging muscles like that just by pumping iron, he must have done roids. It is unexcusable, and like AD said, there are more important people, like doctors, police, teachers that all die, and they go unheard.

Singers actually have a message to give to the world... They have worth... So do some -although very few- athletes... They are overpaid, glorified assholes, for the most part... It's not anybodies fault that they were born to be a behemoth kickass motherfucker... It's also not anyones fault when they are born with multiple schlerosis(sp?)...

Being given millions of dollars for some bullshit reason like being able to jump 8 feet straight up in the air or something is fucking retarded... They have nothing to donate to society, and yet they are praised, idolized, and made rich...

Doctors, militarymen and women, teachers, police officers... Now THOSE people achieve something everyday... Something that requires more than what they were born with...

Everyone cried when Muhammed Ali died... He was an amazing man, and he was an idol for many... Why? Because he could beat the shit out of people??? Wow, I'm really impressed.

I don't take away the skill or power that it takes to be an athlete, but it is something you are born with and doesn't have ANY practical application in our world.

What I am saying is that these men should NOT be paid anymore than the mechanic for the job... Why the f*ck does a guy who can run 100 yards in 3 seconds deserve to be paid more than they guy who saves people from heart-attacks? What about paramedics that are lucky to make 40 to 50K a year who actually do a real SERVICE..?

What service is Bo Jackson or Michael Jordan providing??? Entertainment??? So fucking what... Read a book... The author spent just as much time on that one book and is lucky to get 1/100th the money...
