Very true Strike, but now you make me think otherwise, him coming forward quickly is a great opportunity for some kind of a false claim which answers my questions to them why they would come out and claim so early in the game. Surely we would love to use that type of information again and if he is town, he made a serious target of himself.

I agree, Kong is not confirmed town yet.

Also, I dont think there are four masons currently. There were four masons in the story of which only 1 returned, and we now have at least 2 masons with probably a number of backup masons (as Sonic said this was close to F&E&E&TOG)

I was given information I will share later during the day about day eliminations.

EW, the way I understood from Sonic after all the stories, etc, is that we now have a setup the same as in the previous Friends, Enemies game, but with a bit of flavour. Meaning, 2 x Masons, 2 x Wolves, 2 x Vampires and the rest are town with the Masons, but all with special roles?

This might be true, ...but then, who is The Other Guy in that game name supposed to be?

@EW: Who gave you this as-yet-unrevealed information? ...never seen a game with so much 'information'.
Also, 'mountainous'?

Idea about striga-knocking and staying in vs. going out. Maybe the striga knocks to see if anybody is home (...or that nobody is home?)
If he can't kill his first choice because they are out (...or in) then he gets sent to another random available target? That could explain why two night-killers both showed up at Traf's room, ...at least if they're both striga.

I do strongly dislike dev sharing so much unneeded information with scum for no apparent reason. @charle, I have not and will not at this time share or make any claims about my role, it was just important to share the info about EW and strike wolf early on because it impacts voting today and if I die at night before sharing it that intel is lost forever.

Kong could be sort of a Town Crier by day, maybe but not necessarily vanilla town by night.
A town crier would sort of add fun to a vanilla town role.

A town Kong Crier probably wouldn't know if the messages he was crying out were from players of true town or scum town allegiance.
He'd just cry out what he was given to cry out.

Maybe?

I made that claim for two reasons. One, I did not go out last night which means I was directly attacked. Whoever attacked me would know that it failed and a vest saved me. Two, Sonic in answering Vot mentioned the two shot bodyguard part so that was also out in the air. The only part I could have been less zealous on was mentioning the Kamikaze part I guess. From how I saw it I was simply giving the rest of town the information that one if not both scum factions already possessed from their attacks and one failed kill along with post night info shared by mod and story. Also since info was out this at least gives town the ability to zero in on actual potential scum from the remaining pool.

I really don't think people should keep prying for town role information or giving away all their powers, it's not good for town and looks scummy, but I will say for the last time that this is mod-verified guaranteed to be true as of last night hard intel that neither strike wolf or EW are part of either scum faction.

Charle wrote:My take of what happened last night is as follows:

First we are all in agreement we have the following setup:
2 x Vampires
2 x Wolves
9 x Town (Traf is dead, so 8 x Town left).

It seems that a Vampire killed Traf. Then another creature (Wolf) entered, had a fight with each other, Dev entered the room and the Wolf damaged Dev's protective Vest whereafter both creatures ran away.

Kong came up and said that Strike and EW are town, so Kong might be town aligned as well.

Just one question to both Dev and Kong, why on earth do both of you claim so early in the game? Scum will now know what both of your PR's are and that you have a protective vest Dev.

So if all the above is true, we have:

Confirmed Town:
1. Strike
2. EW
3. Kong
4. Dev

The Rest:
5. DDS
6. pmc
7. Vot
8. Loose
9. Fusi
10. Ragian
11. Pixar
12. Charle

If we lynch anybody from 5 to 12 above, we have a 50% chance to hit scum and after that the masons even have a better chance at night. This is if Kong and Dev were telling the truth though.

I'm happy enough to go with the above 5-12 being candidates for lynching D2, for now.

Me and PMC, and Town (if I'm Town) do have a problem we have to get round if 5-12 are the candidates though.
In the last game I was assessing and reassessing PMC a lot a lot a lot.
I think PMC was probably doing the same assessing with me because he had to persuade me he was town.
I think I absolutely understand why PMC would make the early assessment that I was scum in this game.
I think it is a genuine assessment on PMCs part, and actually, I'm currently putting PMC as town because of my reading of PMC and because his early reading of me as scum is both consistent with PMC towniness, and in honesty what I might be doing too if Loose Canon was another player.
So there is something that needs careful navigation here - IF I'm town.

The second most likely player to be town to me currently is Vot - but I don't have a history of good reads on Vot - just wouldn't be able to vote for him on anything I've seen so far.

Of the players who posted suspicions early I'm most suspicious of Rag.
I think he posted early suspicions on a number of players, which sort of gives him an I told you so, yes I thought that too line of self justification/defence to use later on when a suspicion wagon starts on one of his "suspects".

Re DDS, Fusi, Pix, Charl, I haven't seen anything to go on re any of them yet - so if there is something someone else has seen and thinks is suss please point it out.

For now I'm just going to hold on reitterating my FOS on Rag, would ideally not want to vote this early D2.

So, this means that you didn't use any powers available to you last night. Despite this being a multi-whatever-Sonic-called-it with everyone seemingly having some powers. Why save those for later?

Rag if I had any powers no I didn't use them last night.

And yes my FOS on you is because you cast suspicions on multiple players early D1, which I think could be a scum strategy.

I just find it odd that you didn't use any available powers. Did your scum partner do all the work last night?

Also, how many did I suspect D1? I was after Fusi for not participating, and I had a lover's spat with Votanic (but we always have those), but I wouldn't say that I threw shade at multiple players.

That is good if you do not make any claim about your role, but having thought about this for a while, I am also not completely convinced that EW and Strike are 100% town. Scum work in pairs of 2, so if one takes action the other might stay at home, giving you a false reading that they are Town. This also does not put you off the hook as well for various reasons.

Actually that wasn't/isn't clear, to me anyway, ...but I must admit, the whole storyline, including Night 1, is so confusing that I'm willng to accept the possibility that you sincerely interpreted the story as telling town to not go out (use PRs) that night...

For both Charle and Rag, why would scum not go outside? They are "the danger", they should be more aware of what mod means. Loose not using any powers he may have is town indicative in my opinion. It bleeds uninformed.
