The unholy story of Count Giure "Grando" Stregone TOWN WINS!

Postby SoN!c on Sat Sep 21, 2024 2:19 pm

STANDARD RULES AS PER SIGN-UP THREAD

1.The moderator is always right. Do not try and argue with them. However we are all human and we all make mistakes. The moderator will try and fix any mistake he or she may have made.

2. Do not edit/delete previous posts. Whatever you say goes into historical record.

3. Do not quote any PM's you receive from the moderator or another player. You may say your name, role, associated abilities. This is a serious offence and could earn you a mod-kill, and/or a blacklist from future games.

4. The game will not be discussed outside this thread, unless your role specifically says you can (and thats only in designated chat).

5. Lynch ‘votes’ and ‘unvotes’ must be in BOLD RED, If they are not, they will not be tallied.

6. Lynching requires a majority of the total votes, once the majority has been reached any unvotes will not be counted. The majority is half the players alive +1.

7. You may vote ‘no lynch’ to end the day without a death.

8. Lengths of days depend on moderators. Usually they are indefinite until the game starts dragging and then the moderator enforces a deadline.
(I will implement a deadline if there is a lack of direction/deadlock).

9.Lengths of nights will last for a maximum of 48 hours (more or less), regardless if you sent a night action or not.

10. Once your death scene has been posted, it's over for you. You can no longer post anything related to the game. Whining is alright, **Voices from beyond the grave** are alright, as long as nothing of substance is revealed. This means you can post something like "Damn you mafia!" or "Oh well. Go town!" but you cannot post and add to the discussion. This is a serious offence.

11. Be attentive and active in the game. You will be replaced if you don't post. If something prevents you to participate for a long period of time, announce it here or via PM. Help everyone's enjoyment of the game by being active and sending your actions promptly. (Given the small player count and lack of reserves, I may just end up modkilling if there is a lack of posting).

12. You cannot talk at night.

13. If you have any questions or doubts, send a private message to the moderator and ask for help. It would be much worse to remain unsure about your role, mafia rules, whatever than to ask the moderator and then understand.

14. This is the basic list of rules. Moderators will have their own specific changes or additions to rules. Make sure to check them.

15. Have fun! And make your own fun!

ADDITIONAL RULES:
1. Scum and Masons may talk during night and day but only in a designated chat channel provided by the mod.
2. When the Back-up Mason die before any of the Masons - if there is one, then the Masons go without a backup (there can be only one backup and at this stage, I am the only one knowing who he is - if there is one)

SIMPLIFIED RULES:
Expect Extreme Role Madness with rule 1 = "the referee is always right".

Rule 2 = "see rule 1".

There are no other rules then those two!

PLAYER LIST:

1. CHARLE died as VAMPIRE FACTION Mafia 2 shot "1 day janitor", voyeur, 3 shot roleblocker, Count Giure Grando Strigone’s bodyguard (if Grando is targeted for night kill the bodyguard automatically dies instead of him)
2. LOOSE CANON
3. PMCHUGH replaced by TRAFALGARLAW01
4. VOTANIC
5. DDS replaced by JFM died as TOWN MILLER N1, ALLIGNMENT COP N2
6. PIXAR
7. DEVANTE
8. EXTREME WAYS
9. KONGMING3 died as Town Roleblocker, 1 shot Full Moon Bear tamer
10. STRIKE WOLF died as TOWN FIRST MASONIC LORD
11. TRAFALGARLAW01 died as Town 2 shot Flavor Cop, 1 shot cop on 3rd night, 3 shot Parrot
12. RAGIAN
13. FUSIBASEBALL died as TOWN DOC, town Miller, 3-Shot Vanillaiser

Ingame, I will post in this blue colour, so please do not use the same in your posts.

Game starts as soon as everybody confirmed they received and understand their roles. It will take some days to send all 13 pm's with detailed instructions so relax and go easy. No rush here, just have a good time + HAVE LOTS OF FUN!!. The pm's will be sended out AFTER the ongoing game ends.

Enjoy!!

Disclaimer:
This is my first time modding, so I apologize in advance if I screw anything up. Role Madness games are difficult to balance and this is Extreme Role Madness, but I tried to give everyone a chance and tried to make the game i'd love playing myself. I expect a lot of crazyness. Just roll with it and have fun!

Day 1 begins with a little story after everyone confirms. Roles going out in PMs.

While we are waiting on the last confirmation to start the game with official votes (thank you Fusi!) we can already kick off with the D1 opening story to get the flavor!

So Our story starts a few hundred years ago in a very remote village somewhere deep in the woods.

On a certain day a black stagecoach arrived at the town. It had no windows and looked mysterious. The driver stopped and bought a farm on the edge of town with strange looking gold coins. Then he started to offload barrels in the basement. No other person from that stagecoach was ever seen. The village was very curious why somebody would do this but when some villagers confronted the stagecoach driver, he only replied “it's none of your business, this house is paid in full and in gold for my master”.

A few weeks passed and some people from town started to die in very strange circumstances. It was not long after before the village priest discovered that sometimes at night, a dark shadow would knock on the doors around the village and on whichever door that black creature knocked, someone from that house would die within the next few days. When their body was found later in the morning it looked dried up, and each dead body that was found was giving a grimace of pain looking utterly frightened.

The bodies were quickly buried and the village priest wrote a letter to his bishop about these strange unholy events. Not long after another stagecoach entered the town. Again one driver, but this time two persons got out the stagecoach and they introduced themselves to the town priest as two Lords of a secret Masonic society, with the driver being their bodyguard helper.

The Masons convinced the village priest that the dead bodies had to be dug up quickly for examination and when they finally dug up the coffins they found in each coffin a dead body further decayed..
On closer inspection each body had bitemarks in the neck but in one case, the last coffin they opened, they discovered a perfectly preserved corpse, looking even better then on the day of its burial, and with a smile on its face.

The second Mason quickly said some exorcism prayers, then took a silver object looking like a weapon that seemed a combination of an axe and saw and with it, he sawed the head off the corpse like he had done this many times before. As soon as the silver saw tore the skin, the vampire screamed, and blood started to flow from the cut. Once fully beheaded it was dead.

After this gruesome event the Masons explained that the village is haunted by a Striga Vampire and that the striga must be searching someone. That the vampire they just killed was just a freshly turned (converted) one. And that the Striga evil powers could grow even more once this unholy creature gets what it's searching for. Then the Masons asked the priest to find 5 brave villagers so together they could form a holy fellowship to hunt and kill this Striga and the evil it brings. Once the brave villagers stepped forward the Masons explained their plan and they rushed to the farm that was recently bought by the stranger but found nobody there. In the basement they only found the barrels holding strange sand next to an empty coffin..

Everybody was asked to return to their homes and warn the rest of town, so nobody should leave their homes at night while the Masons would come up with a new plan.
