Probably the one with the loophole that makes it okay to sell bombs to Israel and Saudi Arabia.

This would be ALOT easier if they could just use the Koran.

Now don't get me wrong, I am not personally supporting a position here... I'm just pointing out if you wanted to find a quote from a holy book that supported your right to wage war even if it might pervert the intended meaning... then the Koran is the path of least resistance.

If I could ACT, I would prefer to give $1 billion dollars for Free Lunches for School children and LESS to Ukraine, or Israel, or even less to the US Military (with some investigation and not a blanket cut). But I am not in that position to do so. I also think cutting school lunch programs and social security is a NO win argument, WITHOUT bipartisan support. Those are simply BAD PR and bad policy. In part, I could argue that there is no contradiction between a list of prohibited 'Shall Nots' and recommended 'Shalls'. [

People are fallible, even religious ones. People have higher expectations of those of faith, but they’re still people often still learning.

Granted most follow organizations and not the person / teachings so it’s easy to go astray or fail while under the microscope of criticism.

You're absolutely right; many people identify as Christians but don't fully follow the teachings of the Old or New Testament.

You're absolutely right; many people identify as Christians but don't fully follow the teachings of the Old or New Testament.

For example, eating pork is forbidden in Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, yet the United States is the largest consumer of pork in the world.

You can't truly follow a religion by selectively choosing what suits you and ignoring what doesn't.

There is no prohibition against Christians to eat pork. The prohibition is to avoid meat offered as sacrifice to pagan gods.
