You know what, if traf mad hatter role is mafia aligned, I just swear off of DDS modded games.

I think the only reason he wouldn't do that is if he didn't think of it. But since he made up the hatter role on his own, he's obviously put some thought into it.

EW and dega have done a great job, that claim night 1 is a bold lie and then being able to confirm it on swang with no cost is crazy. Then EW also argued a lot with Loose day 1, with them voting for each other, and he has been cop investigation cleared. I'm not even sure it's him still to this moment, so I can understand why you guys might be skeptical of me instead.

I'm now worried about the bulletproof scenario, which makes me look more suspicious and totally invalidates my no lynch defence, which sucks.

I don't understand your hesitation.
If I'm a bulletproof godfather, and I'm still alive tomorrow, then whoever is left would lynch me no matter who I killed.
I don't understand Traf's hesitation either, for that matter. He wins whether he's scum or town.

Thanks for hosting this, was a lot of fun! Really enjoyed seeing/watching everything play out and how a healthy dose of paranoia can pay off (Traf's not so subtle hints for what I should do didn't hurt either).

1. Dega-Despite losing you played it about as well as you could have. Really made me regret second guessing killing you N1. I was onto you as scum but thought you were Mafia Hypnotist (the info I could find on Hypnotist pointed to a more scum type role that manipulated night results and I got the impression Dega was stalling by not answering the questions right away. What made me hesitate is that I was told that if it was the type of role I thought it was that a hypnotist could visit me and make me see a different role than what Dega actually meant to claim and I'm generally pretty hesitant about vigging anyone N1 after an old game where I read someone wrong and ended up killing an important town role)
2. Vot-Good use of investigations.
3. PMC-I definitely read you wrong on D2. I just couldn't figure out why you were defending LC so hard.
4. I really did think that whether mafia chose to kill me or I would have to claim to prove my case D3 that my role would be revealed. I was not counting on Swang to be a Mafia Janitor. Probably should have just told Traf who I was. It just felt weird to do so after that info accidentally being dumped to EW got him replaced.
5. Everyone should look up how a mafia janitor works. They clean up the kill they committed. Not just random kills.
6. As for my own play, B-. I was onto LC from D1 and Dega after N1 but didn't really have a scum read on Swang. I also correctly read Kong, Vot and later picked Traf out as the likely gift giver and predicted that the amnesiac would choose the tracker role as 3rd party arsonist is pretty unreliable to win with. However I was also wrong about PMc being scum D2 and my own cases could have been clearer and better thought out. I ended up underplaying my suspicion of Dega as my case against him would have outed me as the jailer to mafia if he was scum and painted a target on my back which I guess I already had anyways.

Night actions

N1: I didn't really have a strong read on EW and wanted to get a better idea of where his head space was and maybe push him to stick to a public opinion lest the jailer catch him in a lie. That obviously didn't work out after he had to be replaced and I got little out of Dega before the night ended.

N2: I actually went to traf because I was pretty sure he was town at that point. Especially since I was suspicious of Dega at that point, I wanted to visit someone I could be pretty sure was town so that when I would reveal my role, they'd back me up on it.

I was under a lot of pressure, and not prepared at all when I started. DDS tells me that I'm the godfather, but I'm jailed and being asked about my role. I didn't have access to the scum chat, and I hadn't even read the thread at that point, so I had to catch up because I didn't want to contradict anything that EW had said, and then I had to go through the mafia.gg roles (which I'm not as familiar with) to pick something reasonable.

And strike, saying that is how janitor works is not all that clear because confusingly the mod basically confirmed I did the kill and I don't see any reason why you couldn't have some role variant in a DDS madness game.

I don't know why I had such a feeling about you strike, I confirmation biased my way into all sorts from that.

Great job from town though, hard game to win with 3 mafia, 2 serial killers and another 3rd party. Getting the hat to vot, keeping him alive and vot picked really good targets for investigation with Loose and swang both coming early. Kong had a brilliant first game.

And yeah good job from dega, without no lynch as an option I think I get eaten there in that end game.

Why swang cleaned the kill is because he did target the same player. I said his kill fails because the target is already dead but since he discovered the body more or less, he would still clean it.

Really good game, thanks DDS. I followed the whole game and looked how it unfolded, at the end it was really intense when pmc wanted to kill traf. Glad it went this way, although I had nothing to do with it.

In role madness, where none of the scum had any kind of power that they could demonstrate and claim was a town power, I knew I would need something more convincing than Agoraphobe/Hider. I thought that if I needed to conveniently lose my power, I could just say I used it on someone who died in the night.

I did tell swang to not post anything until after Vot, so we could make sure he hadn't been investigated. I thought we were in the clear until that stupid day investigation. If we'd had any actual powers, like a busdriver or something, I think we might have been able to get a guilty investigation on you on N2.

We didn't know what strike was, but he was active, experienced, and didn't seem to have any suspicion directed his way.

I hope that didnt factor in Vot's investigations... It helped in setting up deg for an endgame but too many roles were confirmed to really matter. If Traf wasnt confirmed I think deg wins these.

I was lucky with my some of my early investigations: LC was obvscum, imo, and swang was just too weirdly stealth... but I couldn't believe the 'not suspicious. I got back on PMC... because he was so suspicious...
Okay, that was tunneling on my part... but in my partial defense, I'm going to say that defending obvscum is not something a player can reasonably WIFOM. Scum should know to let him hang and town shouldn't try to slow the wheels of justice (unless they really know something).

Also DDS language choice was (deliberately?) confusing. If PMC killed strike instead of swang, why was he, "squeaky clean".
Trying to read something into PMC's "not suspicious" vs. dega's "innocent" was also a dead-end...

I don't know what else would have worked for him. Saying there must be a busdriver isn't going to stop him from being lynched.

Also, I legitimately thought that a Fall Guy was likely to know his own role. He would basically be a Miller, but the scum know who he is. Especially in a Role Madness game, where just telling him that his role was Vanilla Townie would be a very bastard move. So I knew there was no chance to save LC, but I did think it was reasonable to have a discussion of the mechanics and what was possible for his role, and might be shown on his death. I would have done the same thing if I was town.
