Re: The Wild Beyond the Walls Mafia (D3) 9/13
Re devante— King is not cleared! In fact i have him up in top 3 lynch candidates.
Re sonic’s vote, he flipped to be a malevolent spirit, which i thiught might be the same as restless spirit. https://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?ti ... ess_Spirit

Ok that helps with the sonic vote aspect.
But what about the:

What's the part of king getting no result on Sonic. If sonic is a restless spirit would he not see that until he died, which happened at night seemingly on it's own unless someone used a role to kill

Re: The Wild Beyond the Walls Mafia (D3) 9/13
I missed this when King first wrote it. How did King track Sonic night 2 and get no result? I assume Mafia used Sonic to kill Law last night, so there was an action taking place? Unless Mafia has multiple goons and used the second goon to kill night 2.
@DDS, any thoughts? How can King pull a misdirected result night 1 and get effectively blocked night 2?

Re: The Wild Beyond the Walls Mafia (D3) 9/13
So this is what I think is why I did get no result when I tried to track Sonic, he was a mafia goon, so he killed LC n1, and LC was Serial Killer Pal Corno-Investigation Proof Poisoner, so Sonic was poisoned when he killed LC. Not sure how it works, if someone kills the proof poisoner, does the person who kills them automaticaly get poisoned, or must they have been picked, if so then its almost an unbelivable coincidence.Devante wrote:Ok that helps with the sonic vote aspect.

And the reason I jumped on the "vote pixar bandawagon" is I feel that we townies would have a hard time winning if we don't get to lynch a scum today, and pixar is the one that I'm the most sus about.
And I can't wait for this game to be over, because I know I'm telling the truth, but I have no freaking idea how I got the results that I got from my tracking.
Re: The Wild Beyond the Walls Mafia (D3) 9/13
But in what "order" those the people die in? Is there a spesific order, because if Sonic died first, then the godfather would probably be the one doing the killing, and that would explain the no result I received right?fusibaseball wrote:I missed this when King first wrote it. How about someone unvotes on Pixar until we get this part of the discussion through first. Once this makes a bit more sense I'm more than happy to throw my vote that way. Although if there is a restless spirit in play and there has been no lynch it makes it a bit more suspect on Pix. Otherwise, I assume the rest who have not voted are also trying to get a clearer picture of things.

Fast posted. You posted while I was writing. I asked same question last game lol
Re: The Wild Beyond the Walls Mafia (D3) 9/13
Its quite possible that sonic made the kill before succumbing to his poison.fusibaseball wrote:I missed this when King first wrote it. How did King track Sonic night 2 and get no result? Re: The Wild Beyond the Walls Mafia (D3) 9/13
But then I should have received info if I was not blocked? But I guess if there is someone with a roll that could block me, I would be an easy pick since I gave away my roll on D2, so thats a possibility.swang918 wrote:Its quite possible that sonic made the kill before succumbing to his poison.fusibaseball wrote:I missed this when King first wrote it. Re: The Wild Beyond the Walls Mafia (D3) 9/13
So we're thinking Scum had the ability to frame, block and has potentially a restless spirit and godfather in play. Plus there was a 3rd party. Doesn't that seem very stacked on the scum side
Re: The Wild Beyond the Walls Mafia (D3) 9/13
Should we be making any claims or mass claims? or is this too early for towns benefit?
Re: The Wild Beyond the Walls Mafia (D3) 9/13
I agree with you, seems way to stacked, that's why I'm so confused about the results I have gotten back from our gamemaster.Devante wrote:So we're thinking Scum had the ability to frame, block and has potentially a restless spirit and godfather in play. Re: The Wild Beyond the Walls Mafia (D3) 9/13
Theres no evidence of a godfather i dont think? Not sure how that got into the discussion

Re: The Wild Beyond the Walls Mafia (D3) 9/13
I can only think that the poison activated and Sonic was already dead, or that someone killed him, therefor, his actions didn't go through, can't track a dead target. Doesn't explain Traf though.fusibaseball wrote:I missed this when King first wrote it. How did King track Sonic night 2 and get no result? Or King was role blocked.
Remember however that Kings role doesn't say whether or not his target is scum. It merely tracks the player and who they visit.
Unvote Pix
Mass claiming at this point might actually help at this stage, that or we can do it the following day and see who's who.
As for the GF. It's better to just assume there is one or at least a role similar.

Re: The Wild Beyond the Walls Mafia (D3) 9/13
why should we assume there is a godfather type at play, I still don't get. If we assume 2 scum left, then one is a deflector/bus driver type and one is a roleblocker right? No godfather there.
or, as you suggest, possibly kingm didnt get a result on sonic because sonic died. in that case we have a busdriver scum and a scum with an unknown role, which might be godfather but can also be anything else.

Re: The Wild Beyond the Walls Mafia (D3) 9/13
And I think a mass claim is ok, but there are probably a good amount of vanilla towns, so it might expose our seer without much benefit. On the other hand, it may be a good time for the seer to come forward anyway. we have 9 players left, with probably 2 scum. Kingm has already claimed, devante has kind of soft claimed a weak role, and the 2 scum of course know who they are themselves, so scum would have a 1 in 5 chance of hitting the seer tonight, 1 in 4 if we mislynch.
so between lynching pix, mass claiming, and having the seer come forward, I think these are all decent options, altho none are that great.

Re: The Wild Beyond the Walls Mafia (D3) 9/13
It's pretty typical to have a GF or GF-like role in just about every mafia game.
I doubt we can get a mass claim off, much less a lynch in less than 24 hours now, on a weekend.
I say the game plan d4 is mass claim. There will likely be 8/7 alive with a chance of a mislynch or lose case.

Re: The Wild Beyond the Walls Mafia (D3) 9/13
The godfather comment was from another post where someone expected it was in play.. Tomorrow is busy for me so don’t want to miss a vote.
To summarize think here’s where we’re at:
We think the Vot/King/Sonic/LC play out involves a scum with an ability to cause confusion. Whether framer or another role. Kings not cleared but right now we’re thinking he may be town.
Q1 - Are we clearing king for the time being?
Q2 - right now pix is on the block. Are we ok moving forward in this if no new info?
Q3 - is there anyone else, either who has been fairly quiet or been suspect we should focus on?
Finally, I like a mass claim but agree the following day makes the most sense. Time is short for a vote and for everyone to claim to do it right so a mass claim only helps scum at this point. So unless Q1 and Q3 is something we want to discuss in more depth I’m alright moving forward with Q2. But again will hold off on vote till I see some agreement so not forcing a lynch
Where we at folks?

Re: The Wild Beyond the Walls Mafia (D3) 9/13
I feel pretty confident there is at least one scum in Charle, Ewe, or Pixar. Just based on the nature of posts and how the conversation has flowed. I don't think DDS or King are Scum, and I"m pretty sure Dev and PMC aren't either.
I'm fine with no lynch but tomorrow Town will have only 5 or 6 left so will have to start lynching.

Re: The Wild Beyond the Walls Mafia (D3) 9/13
The reason I was quiet probably about the time difference? Your posts are like 2am for me. I already soft claimed on day 1 as well, I am William Freeman from the Village with no important role.
Don't think we will get to a lynch today, I don't think we have enough evidence actually and as DDS mentioned earlier, nothing is really happening apart from explaining the different possible roles (which I am very greatful of, very interesting learning). We now just need to get people for those roles and that is where we are stuck I guess. Do you guys really think a mass claim is good for town? Just making it easier for scum if we do not hit our targets with lynch.
Pixar's hammer so quickly also made me wonder, and then i still believe that ewe and Kingm are not off the hook as well.
DDS, fusi, Swang and PMC reads town to me, with Devante who I cannot place at the moment.

We definitely need to lynch someone today. Waiting for tomorrow gives us no new info. If we get no new info then getting pix is fine
